OEM like functionality for a fraction of the price!
This product does exactly what it says on the box. It is quite literally plug and play. I just plugged the module in to the AMI port in the glovebox (2011 Audi B8 S5), paired my phone, and boom! Absolutely perfect bluetooth sound quality! And my phone (Galaxy S22 Ultra) is able to connect to both the standard car bluetooth system for phone calls and then also to this system for media streaming, so I truly get the best of both worlds. I can control the media directly from my steering wheel or from the main system (although it doesn't pull track or artist names unfortunately), so it feels completely OEM.Couldn't recommend this system highly enough for anyone with an older bluetooth setup (e.g. B8 Audi A4/A5 or earlier) to enable easy and high quality media streaming.

2013 Audi A5 coupé, Black edition, 2.0 TDI
I have the Audi ‘Concert’ system with B&O sound system. I wanted to enjoy my music through these great speakers...So I have brought; an Audi AMI to lightening (didn’t work), eBay cheap 5.0 Bluetooth connector (didn’t work), original Audi AMI with 30 pin iPod connector with a 30 pin to lightening connector (didn’t work).Spent a lot of money and time trying to find a Bluetooth solution for my 2013 Black edition A5 coupé, 2.0 TDI.Received this today. Plugged into the AMI port in glovebox, paired quickly, done!I have an iPhone 8, running IOS 13.3.1.All my playlists came up on the screen! All controls on the steering wheel work too!Small display in dash also has track listing and steering wheel function compatibility within that too!For the price this is an amazing piece of technology for the frustrating problem of Bluetooth streaming for older Audi’s.So easy to use and set up and sits neatly ticked away in my glovebox, connects every time I go in the car.I haven’t used it while listening to music and then receiving or trying to make a call (already connected to Audi direct via Bluetooth telephone factory fitted option). But I’m sure it will work fine with that too.Don’t waste time and money buying cheaper solutions. This does it perfectly!Very happy

Started good. Sound quality was ok for a add on.But just outside the warranty period it stopped working.

Works but has serious limits with iPhones.
All works on a Merc, but be Aware, after iPhone 6 and 7 it cuts out, so you’ll need to have a old phone as a spare for the car, my iPhone 12 managed about 12 songs and it freezes.Simply they haven’t updated the software so it’s good but is limited.

A revelation….
Completely astounded at how simple this was to connect into my SLK Mercedes, connect to iPhone and get started. Connects immediately every time I start the car, no twirling graphics, no ‘waiting’ message or lengthy pauses.I have all these issues with my factory inbuilt AUDI mmi system (in the other car) and expected this here - however not. Not cheap but brilliant and worth the money to bring a 11 year old audio system up to date.

Solved my problem
I have a Audi A4 with no means of playing music from an Android Phone [Samsung S22]. When I saw this, I thought it was expensive but decided to buy it after trying many other ways to connect my music and failing. I plugged it into the cars AMI in the glovebox, paired it with my phone and as soon as I clicked on the Media on car it played all my songs from Amazon music with crystal clear sound !! Could not believe how easy it was to connect and so pleased I can now listen to my music. Only down side, is that songs or playlists do not show on the dash screen, that's because it's an android phone but you can change the songs on the steering wheel or on your phone it's self. Iphones will show songs on the dash screen. If you're like me and love listening to music in the car, this is the answer.

Sort of works
For the money I expected something bulletproof but what I got is something that kind of works. Sent one back due to audio drop outs and frequent refusal to connect, the replacement connects every time but still drops out. Grievances include 1) when you get into the car it always plays the same playlist, starting at the same song and with shuffle disabled so you get really fed up of the same few songs, 2) Podcasts can be browsed and selected but it always plays you something different to what you chose, 3) It stays active for aaaages after you lock up the car so when you're at home the phone keeps reconnecting to it and it "steals" your audio, 4) if you enable shuffle on the phone it just displays the wrong tracks on the radio and generally gets confused. So pretty much what you'd expect from some cheap unbranded thing but at premium price. To be fair the audio quality is really good and the form factor is neat. I just wish it worked properly.

A must have
Bought it for a W221, the car didn't have Bluetooth media streaming so bought this and its works perfectly and also connect automatically everytime i get in the car. Its bit pricey but i would highly recommend spending the money as it is really handy to have, because this plugs into the media interface port you can use the buttons in the car to skip tracks.
