putt straighter
Awesome gadget to help your putting. Especially in winter to stay sharp. This really forces you to align everything else the ball doesn't stay on the stick. I think any yard stick would work as long as its flat all the way through the stick. This has helped my son gain more confidence in knowing that his puts are going straight where he expects them to go. His putting has improved overall since he's started using the stick.

Didn't come with all the pieces
This did not come with the piece that the mirror connects to. Worthless.

Good Device to Insure Your Starting Your Putts Online
A very good device to use to insure you have a square putter face when you are putting. Nothing aggravates me more than missing a short putt that should be made. By insuring that your technique is proper and you have a square putter face at impact, you insure at least you're hitting your line which is critical for short putts. It will increase your confidence too which is as we all know is half the battle with putting. Dave Pelz said, an average golfer shoots 96 and has 41 putts! Lower than putting number and score better. Good luck.

Great aid for grooving your putting stroke
This device will not help you control putting speed. However, IMO there are no aids better than this to work on striking the ball squarely and flush. Any type of miss struck putt is obvious as the ball falls on the rail or barely stays on it. But when you putt the ball properly, you see the ball roll on the rail. When you get on the course, 3 footers never looked easier.

Although I use this quite a bit for practice, the quality is lacking for the price you pay. The mirror is not that accurate. Mine came bent so it really isn't true, I have to fudge a little. Also, mine didn't have the carved out ball ramp that is described on the box or video, so i have to physically bend over and place the ball on the stick. Also since I have a mallet putter instead of a blade the nub on the screw for the backswing marker interferes sometimes. Frankly I don't see a need for it at all. I can't get the ball down the stick with a 3in backswing ever! So I took it off. Save your money its a gimmick.

It works
Love this training aid works as advertised. If not stuck firmly and square it falls off. Really helps you work on a stroke that squares your putter face.

I'm AM a better putter.
The aid was OK and I used it all winter. 50 balls a day. One has to hit the ball hard to get it to stay in line. Unfortunately harder than you have to hit it on a green. I'm trying to undo that very bad habit. The ball run past much farther then before. It's only May. If my putting does get better I'll come back and alter this review. At this point, however, I think it's overpriced and hurt more than helped. After actually play this year I am a better putter. I'm getting longer putts to fall and when I lag a putt it's much closer. Upon reflection I think the Putting Stick had a lot to do with it.
