Superfish Heron Scare Reflector - Floating Eye Bird Stop Protects Pond Fish From Predetors

The thread with stone on came off within a couple of weeks.The ball gets quite dirtyMost importantly it does diddly squat to scare off the herons.

This is basically a giant Christmas ball but it has so far worked.

I have bought 2 of these. Waste of money. Had a heron in the pond this morning. It wasn't a deterrent

Bought recently to deter a heron who has eaten half of our fish family in our garden pond.... attractive packaging however when you unwrap it the quality is poor and it resembles a oversized christmas bauble!!! The details on the box say you csn either float in pond or hang above the pond, when a heron tries to land it will see the eagle eyes on the bauble and fly away.... after a week of hanging this right over the pond where it can move like a eagle sith the wind I have seen a heron land right next to it and admired itself in the mirrored reflective coating on the bauble!!! This item has not worked in our garden to deter the heron!!!!!

We've tried all sorts of heron scarers without success but we'v now watched the heron, several times, standing beside the pond and moving around looking at the "eye". He / she is definitely put off and we haven't lost any fish since we've had it - hoorah!
