Pet Gear View 360 Pet Safety Carrier & Car Seat for Small Dogs & Cats Push Button Entry

Both my cats are in the 12lb range. Not huge, but big boys.I have found that the hardsided carriers have one of two issues: either they are cheaply made and parts break off; or they have a top load and the weight of the cat makes it impossible to carry by the handle without the top door popping open.Softsided carriers tend to collapse around the cat when carrying making it uncomfortable for them. It becomes very confining. And if you set them with the cat onto a chair or bench, the cat's moving around will have the carrier turning on its side and/or falling off.So I started looking for something better. I wanted it for vet visits as well as for long drives and camping trips (yes, the boys go camping).I wanted a solid bottom, plenty of "view", a sturdy and comfortable handle. I wanted to be able to open it so the cat could go in and out and not have it collapse. And I wanted it to be roomy enough inside so the cat can move around. I also wanted it to be strong enough to put both cats in one if needed.This carrier does all that.The bottom is solid and does not " fold over" from the cat's weight. The sides stay upright and don't collapse inwards when it's being carried and there is a hard corner between the bottom and sides, so the cat's moving around doesn't cause it to roll onto its side.The handle is sturdy and comfortable and does not put pressure on the clasps securing the top. The clasps are strong and secure. You do need to make sure it actually clicked close, but once closed, it stays closed.The size is a bit on the bigger side. Both my cats are about 12lbs. The carrier is quite big enough for one to lay down comfortably, stand, sit, and turn around. Both could fit in one carrier as long as they are OK "cuddling" while laying down (which they are). It would easily hold two smaller cats or a mama and newborns, or a litter of young kittens.And actually, it would be a great bed for a mama and newborns - mama could go in and out while the newborns stay safe from roling out. And it would be easy to just pop the top closed to take them to the vet.It is very easy to "set up" - just pull the legs apart and attach the eight velcro straps around the legs.I set up the first one and Looney1 immediately jumped in and checked it out. He loved it. Especially that I could close one side of the top to keep the dog's nose away while leaving the other side open. I then took both upstairs to Looney2 and he didn't want anything to do with them. Looney1 came up and again jumped in and rubbed his scent all over them. He even figured out how to pull the top down and push it back up.I went downstairs and snuck back up 5 minutes later. Looney2 was sitting in one happy as a clam.So they get the full Twooney seal of approval as well as mine.

THIS IS AMAZING!! CARIER SIZE :There is lots of movability access for him to sit up and turn around comfortably.My cat TUXEEDO is a big boy weighing at 12 pounds. All the carriers that I have looked at are no where as big as this. STABILITY :It’s really sturdy! I don’t feel like it will collapse at all. The clasped are made of plastic but it’s not cheap plastic. It’s very secure.ALSO SUPER EASY TO WORK! STYLE :Every time I bring him to the vet people always ask about it because it’s so cute. I do wish it came in more colors or styles but that’s honestly the only thing I don’t like. I’ve given several people the information to buy this carrier. So lots of people after seeing it first hand want this carrier! HIS VETS OPINION :Tuxeedos vet loves it a lot! Here’s a summary of some things his vet has said about the carrier. She says the fact that you can push the top down and access tux from all angles is great. It keeps him in a safe environment while also allowing her to care for him without moving him from it. It also keeps him in one place because he can’t move around all over the table. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Got their amazing “pet” car seats yesterday 😁Love these: they fold super flat for easy storing, dual lock/unlock, easy carry/car seat assembly, keeps mom out while they have their snack (she like to eat their treats,) keeps the twins from fighting or running about in the car. At 8 weeks old today there is room to grow.One of the smartest items we have bought so far.Now we can focus on the road knowing the twins are safe and mom isn’t climbing in and their not climbing out. Having twins can be a bit of a challenge when transporting but, this makes life so much easier.It’s also breathable/plenty of air flow and rain guard.I was looking at the backpack kind but; didn’t like their wasn’t much room to move about, not much air flo and in hot weather “can you imagine being in a plastic dome...” this is a better way to go and worth the money! We haven’t used the car seat belt portion yet (Amazon pic) but, I can’t wait to try it out...going to be a nice drive when we do if no worrying.

This carrier is made really well and my 10 pound Chiweenie fits in there perfectly. It doesn't come with a comfortable bottom but her pet bed fits inside really well. It's sturdy and has a nice thick handle to carry your pet easily. I recommend this one for sure. It doesn't have outside pockets but I fit some poo poo bags and her leash just tucked in the outside of her pet bed. I added 4 tiny hair ties to hold the top up so my dog can sit in the car better with half the top open to maintain her from getting out. There's also a short leash to hold her from escaping while I'm driving.

My elderly cat hates cat carriers with a vengeance and vet visits have been a nightmare. Have bought a couple of new carriers since her old one broke but they stressed her out even more. Because of the price I thought long and hard about this carrier but all the videos and product reviews were excellent. Wow what a difference. Although I still had the initial stress of finding her, she went into this carrier easily. The hood is lockable within seconds before she is able to escape. Nice seat belt loops for secure journey. Good that it folds down for easy storage. There is plenty of room for her either to lay down or sit up and she was so much more comfortable, meaning both her and me were much less stressed! She was able to have her vaccinations in the carrier with ease and much easier. Just so pleased I bought this and can highly recommend.

Dieses Körbchen bzw. Hundesafe ist wirklich praktisch. Unser Hund liebt es vom ersten Tag an. Sie sieht rundherum alles und kann sich darin zurückziehen. Es steht sehr gut und im Auto kann man es einfach festgurten. Wir sind rundum glücklich mit dem PET Gear.

Excelente producto, ya viene listo para usarse, no se necesita armar. De buen material y buen tamaño.

This carrier is excellent our 9 week old toy maltipoo loves this. We are so pleased with it. She jumped in and fell asleep straight away. We purchased a cushion from Pets At Home in the UK that fits perfect in the carrier which makes it lovely and soft. We make the carrier slightly darker with a towel when in the house as she likes the sense of a den. We are over the moon with purchase. Arrived approx 3 weeks after purchasing as had to come from US. Our puppy is safe and secure in this. If you need one of these carriers before collecting puppy I would strongly advise you order well in advance. It is stylish and easy to use. Very happy with purchase.

Los materiales se ven de buena calidad, es bastante espacioso, se ve bien en el carro y sobre todo no raya los asientos. Mi perrito iba bastante cómodo una vez que se acostumbró. Es muy práctico que se pueda abrir y cerrar de arriba, incluso lo hace más seguro para los perritos. El único detalle que le encuentro es que no tiene gancho para el collar o pechera y la base no es sólida, así que el cargar el asiento con todo y perro no es factible. Pero para llevar como asiento de carro funciona muy bien!
