Sony Playstation 1 COMPLETE System Console PS1 PSX

I ordered this with a bunch of accessories and games for my boyfriend's Christmas present and it actually starting fuming. Our bedroom now reeks of appliance smoke. All I did was plug the console in to test it before I wrapped it up and smoked filled my room. How can someone sell something that is very clearly not fit for use!

The disk was holding a broken peace from falling out, when disk was removed it came right off. Also the cord had wires exposed.Very upset not only that it was broken, but that the seller tried to hide its defect.

Product does not work! It freezes as soon as it is turned on. Controller was not original and cords are taped up. Very disappointed.

Product came as advertised, for the exception the av cable was trash, probably would work on an older tube television, but would drop picture/audio on my 4k vizio, so I replaced it. Also if you're getting this for a Uhd tv, buy a converter that converts av to hdmi, and buy a REAL av cord made for the PS system, third party knock offs suck, I've tried composite AND yellow red white both lost audio and video intermittently. If you have an av to hdmi converter, to avoid losing audio on bootup change to the input with the converter off, then turn the converter on, turn on the PS system, sound everytime! new TVs dont process the old tech so well, so even if you go composite or yellow red white directly into the tv ports you may still lose audio and video, best to convert to hdmi.

As a 57 year old man the entire gaming frenzy just completely passed me by, that is to say that I entirely missed it. But we have an autistic son who really enjoys playing very simple games, not the action packed modern day games. His favorite game and/or game show is Wheel Of Fortune and in my search I was able to find 2 or 3 different versions as well as a couple of other games that I know he would enjoy playing and so for his needs this older game console is perfect for him.I originally purchased this product used from another seller but it arrived non-functional and it is being picked up and returned today. The replacement arrived yesterday and it works perfectly. I'm not placing any blame on the initial seller as it may have been bounced around on the delivery truck for all I know. In the end my son has a working game and he is very happy with it. It's really surprising to me just how good the graphics are given it's age. It's not perfect but it must have been quite the system back in it's day!

Which means the seller is a trusted partner under Amazon in repairing the product to be in great working condition. For the most part, from what I can tell from my first impressions is that it works well. Aesthetically though, there is a big promotion sticker of the seller on the disk cap that I will have to clean off, and a small gash scratch that I will have to sand away, and refill in. It smells a bit like moth balls repellent that should go away in a day, or two. Unfortunately, the lid does not stay closed most of the time. Luckily, I can fix the part to where I won't have to place something on top to hold it down. I was expecting to get system in a condition closer to great for something that is supposed to be "Amazon Renewed", but this is just good enough. I'm still happy with the purchase, this time. I hope you have better luck finding a console closer to great condition to where you won't have to repair, or clean off anything.

I can't believe how great of condition this came in. It was marked as "good" but def deserved a "great". The text power button and the open button are a little worn out, but that's what happens when something gets use.Packaging was great. You'd think the dude was shipping the Mona Lisa, lol. Controllers and all original cords. The controllers have that slight yellow age-tint, less than I was expecting.This is a perfect add to my husband's retro game console collection :)

Very clean and system, all ports, and controller has performed flawlessly. I’ve been reliving old memories and playing the original Diablo (Which cost me more than this system) hours at a time and the system hasn’t missed a single beat. When I purchased this system however I believe it was advertised as an “Original System” in very good condition. Upon examining the underside of my system I noticed the word “Refurbished” written on it in permanent marker. I wasn’t that concerned about ORIGINAL CONDITION COLLECTABILITY so it didn’t really matter to me. I was more concerned about it perform well, a TRUE COLLECTOR might not have been happy though.

Everything arrived in a yard of bubble wrap and was kept safe but there where things not advertised and not the same as advertised, the seller said that the thumb sticks would have slight wear but it ends up fine, but he didn't say that the open button gets stuck and hard to close afterward ontop of that sent an undeclared item with it of a memory card when I had already gone ahead and ordered one because it never said it came with one, I will however use this seller again and hope that they see this review and provide improved item descriptions

It's broken, I am so angry! I had to wait for games to come in, I played a game for 5 minutes and the machine just shut off. Now it doesn't do anything! Very disappointing! It's not mad it broke, it's just because of the money I spent on it. Don't usually buy things for myself so it was a bit of a disappointment. Still looks amazing for show though I guess.

Just recieved this item today paid 99$ and it was prime and it doesn't even work. Turns one fine but won't turn disc or load past the first loading screen. I can't even use it. So basically I paid 100 dollars for a broken system. Returning it for my money back.

I love this video gaming system. Brings back memories to when I first bought this in August 1998. Quality of the system is good, got all the items needed like A/V cable, I/O cable, and 1 controller. I even got it way before the expected delivery period.

La Ps1 est presque parfaitement fonctionnel. Le bouton Open restait toujours collé alors j’ai du ouvrir la console et nettoyer le mécanisme. Le bouton Reset a une très grande coupure d’exacto et il y a plusieurs égratignures partout sur la console. Ce vendeur n’est donc peut être pas la solution si vous recherchez une ps1 de collection ou si vous n’êtes pas prêt à faire quelques réparations vous-même.
