Honestly, I'm not sure why some have complained about how difficult it is to wind the wire into this unit. I didn't read the instructions that came with it, simply looked at the pics in the listing and it took me less than a minute to have everything hooked up and running. It looks good, functions perfectly (even though I have it mounted upside-down) and I have zero complaints.

I researched all the hangers I could find on Amazon and this is by far the best! A few key points; 1. The construction is sturdy, 2. The Dot is held securely in place, 3. The sound has a bit more bass - good for music listening in the Jacuzzi and the Dot's app can adjustment audio settings if you wish, 4, The cord storage is easy and out of sight, 5. The Dot is off my bathroom vanity. See photos.What I like over the other designs; 1. Cord storage is a simple spool - no spiral ridges to press the cord into, 2. The cord and the plug that goes into the Dot are internal - the plug feeds through the heck on the hanger and plugs directly into the Dot at the 12 o'clock position. Other designs have the plug exit the hanger then plug into the Dot outside the hanger at 6 o'clock, 3. The power supply fits snuggly in the hanger supporting the hanger in the wall outlet, 4. Best of all 2 Hangers for $12!!!About the hanger falling out of the wall outlet. As outlets get older the spring mechanisms that holds your plug’s blades get weaker. Hard to notice when plugging in a lamp cord. When I moved in, there were several outlets that had such weak contacts the iron's plug would fall out as I ironed. Suggestion if you're up to it. Lowes or Home Depot has replacement outlets for 3 or 4 dollars that have strong contacts. If you're a DIYer, bring your Dot and hanger with you and try out a few sockets. Loose sockets scare me even for a lamp.

Keeps the DOT neat and clean with no cables showing (they have a handing little spool that hides the cables)Well worth the cost.

It was easy to install and works great!

This is the second set of these I've purchased. I got the black ones the first time and plugged my Echo Dot into the wall between the kitchen and living room. Now I can tell Alexa to put something I'm running out of on my shopping list from the kitchen or ask her for the local weather from the living room. Best of all she’s unobtrusively hanging low on the wall with all her cords wrapped up inside. I love this wall mount and it works perfectly for a very reasonable price.

This works just as described. Using it for the Echo Dot I have in my kitchen and wanted to get the Dot and cord up off the counter. Does hand a bit longer than I expected but still meets my expectations and good value for the money I paid.

I have multiples around my house. But I love this design the most in the bathroom so I can listen to music in the shower and it doesn't take up any limited counter space.
