My second one of this model - the first one started smelling of burning and died before the 12 months were out. Had a replacement sent from Amazon, now just after 12 months this one has done the same thing! It is only used for small areas and spot cleaning and is well looked after - cleaned thoroughly every time of use etc. I just can't believe how disposable and shoddy vax carpet cleaners have become,prior to these two I had another vax and that too burnt out.

I've had this carpet cleaner now for several months, it easy to use, light weight, easy to clean and above all doesn't leave yours carpets dripping wet and cleans really well, i use mine every 2months on house top to bottom.highly recommend this Vax carpet cleaner

just 2 months out of warranty and its died, gets little use and was cleaned after each use. pretty poor
