Really easy to build however please be careful when hammering in the back as the wood is not the greatest quality hence why it will spilt easily. Luckily this is easy to hide with a storage box. The stickers that come to place over the screw gaps were all bent too so didn't stick on very well plus they don't blend well into the unit so you can clearly see them.

Very easy to assemble, took me 30 mins on my own to do. Great storage for my daughter's room. I laid it on its side, and didn't bother with the backing plates.It is sturdy, not as much as IKEA Kallax units we have, but perfectly good for a child's room. Can store loads of toys within and on top of unit. Managed to store all toys that had previously been in a variety of boxes and bags into one neat and tidy solution!All in all, very pleased with this, and was good value with the free delivery.

The bookcase was easy to assemble- though the instructions recommended two people, I was able to put it together on my own just fine. It goes together very similarly to IKEA furniture using screws and wooden dowels.The wood of the bookcase itself is incredibly flimsy- pushing a dowel in too hard with my hand made it go all the way through the wood and punch a tear through the wood, which thankfully was the base piece and can't be seen.The stickers that come with the bookcase to cover the screwholes stuck well and look great.Overall, solid bookshelf and worth the cost, I just wish it wasn't quite so flimsy.

Very handy currently stores a large proportion of my kids toys/books. I have it horizontally and it’s handy as you then use the top to display even more toys on. As others have said it’s not the most sturdiest but it does the job. Just be very careful when nailing in the back as it will split the wood if placed to near the edge aim for the centre. I made the mistake once realised and then ensured all the other nails were central and didn’t have the issue again

This is one of many such items available as self assembly. It is not an expensive item so be advised you do get what you pay for, most of the time. We bought this knowing it is a budget item and it really is just that. The boards are thin, the dowels are weak and don't bother looking for cams and bolts, they don't exist in this item. Which shows when it is assembled as it does move thus showing weakness in the joints. You must put the back panels on otherwise it will end in tears. Once assembled and storage baskets added, it looks more than the sum of the parts. It won't stand heavy storage but then it wasn't designed to, so think about what you may want to store in a unit such as this.

I gave this 4 stars assembly as I did it by myself and I would suggest 2 would have made it a breeze which it does say 2 people assembly. I love this unit and I bought other colour baskets to put in the vacant cubicles and it's in my bedroom instead of a chest of drawers, ideal for tshirts, lighter weight jumpers and underwear etc. I love it .

Great unit. Packaged well, delivered quickly and was simple enough to put together. Looks great now it’s built and in place and has given my daughter a lovely way to keep all her things organised while also having some bits on display, perfect.

The item is great quality at the price and easy to build. Instructions easy to follow. Only down side was the courier has clearly dropped it on the corner as almost every long bit was damaged on the same corner. Thankfully once built the worst of the damage is out of view. Once built fairly sturdy and as going in a kids room it will be fixed to the wall.Overall I would say find a new courier as DHL failed on several aspects.
