LiquitexProfessional Acrylic Gouache, 2-oz (59ml) Bottle, Light Pink

Bought Mars Black. When spread thinly, it is perfect, but even a minor glob will produce a noticeable sheen. That said, it doesn’t lift after drying, nor does it re-wet. Opacity is better than any standard acrylic and less than standard gouache, though the consistency is easier to work.Knocked off a star for the sheen and one for the brushstrokes I saw. I wouldn’t have if Liquitex had not included the boasts in the advertising.

I bought this one at the same time I purchased a non acrylic Gouache because I wasn't sure which would more useful. This one does not reactivate with water but I was still able to paint over it when I used it to fix some watercolor "mistakes" I made, being new to it. It has a slight sheen also compared to the dry, flat appearance of non acrylic Gouache. Both have their uses at my art table.

I'm a newbie with this medium, and have a lot to learn. But, I use it to add fine details to animal subjects after using the airbrush. It's not as heavy as acrylic, so you don't have the hard thick layering. But, that makes it somewhat easier to remove with a wet brush, or other paint. So you may put in a lot of little hairs on an animal, then accidentally remove all your work with a stroke of acrylic paint. Use your dry brush technique or seal it lightly. I love this medium!

I ordered this for three juried shoes I had gotten into this spring. I did not open the box immediately and assumed both containers I ordered were in there. A couple weeks later when I went to use the product, only one of the two containers of paint were in the box. My own fault for assuming they were both in there. The one jar I did get looked great. I am a little disheartened that I had no way to contact the seller after the short return period was over.

Works great for creating a paint mixture for fluid art, especially the SheleeArt bloom style (look it up!)Great vibrancy, even with just a small amount of paint added to a pouring medium. I can't speak for the opacity, because I can't remember if this was opaque, semi-, or transparent. But it's a beautiful color!

Product came with no lid. How am I supposed to store or use this product?

I Love this paint, it goes on so smooth. Some Gouache white leaves a chalky residue, this one did not. I will buy it again.

I do a lot of drawing on toned paper, and I was looking for a gouache that wouldn't lift after being applied so that I could layer more on top of it and gradually build up highlights in a drawing. The gouache also dries flat and doesn't reflect light like a regular acrylic. Both the white and Black versions have become a permanent part of my drawing kit.

Love this paint! It’s a cross between acrylic and gouache, but you apply it neat rather than add water. It takes a few coats to get the full, vivid colour, but well worth it for the even, flawless finish! Delivery was great too - only took a few days to arrive, and well packaged!

This arrived with no lid. I can’t vouch for the quality of the product as opening the bottle will make the paint dry out - acrylic gouache doesn’t re-activate with water like regular gouache. I’ve been unable to talk to the seller about getting a lid, so it’s pretty disappointing. Liquitex products are high quality in my experience- I use them a lot- so this is an unfortunate experience for me.

J’utilise ce produit pour faire ressortir des blancs sur mes aquarelles. Il fonctionne très bien.Par contre, j’ai payé beaucoup plus cher sur Amazon que si je l’avais acheté dans un magasin de ma région. (environ 7$ de plus)

My paint didn't show up! Its amazing paint i got it before but this second time it hasn't shown up!!!

As stated in the title the paint goes on thick with good coverage Very satisfied with the product
