Supershieldz (2 Pack) Designed for LG Stylo 5 / Stylo 5 Plus and Stylo 5X Tempered Glass Screen Protector, Anti Scratch, Bubble Free

After much searching over the years, I use SuperShieldz every time now as they are simply the best. That was until I ordered these new LG Stylo 5 screen protectors for my new LG Stylo 5. I had the Stylo 4 but upgraded. Was going to keep buying the Stylo 4 screen protectors since LG didn't change anything on the screen or size between the 4 and 5, but figured what the heck I'll just buy the Stylo 5 protectors, probably the exact same thing anyhow. Boy was I wrong:1. The size is WAY off. We're talking over 1/8 of an inch gap ON EVERY SIDE OF IT2. The new backing this comes on is now not a thin peel off plastic shield and instead a thick hard plastic, meaning you can't line it up with the guides ahead of time for a straight and lint-free installation3. The Stylo 4 protectors had the black on the top and bottom that blended in and looked great, these do not4. The old ones NEVER bubbled--these do EVERY TIME5. Old ones didn't attract lint like it was going out of style, but the new ones do6. The shape of these new ones has the cutout for the speaker and camera all in one large rectangle instead of just one smaller one for the speaker. This new way looks cheap and works terribly at keeping dirt and lint outI'm quite experienced at putting screen protectors on...I've been doing so for years with SuperShieldz, and I probably average replacing them once a month (I'm rough on my phones lol).I'm not afraid of change at all, as long as it's an improvement. But this was definitely a downgrade in so many ways!I now just buy the Stylo 4 screen protectors and use them on my 5....WAY BETTER.

Looks like a quality item when you open it but trying to center it with or without the guides is very difficult, there is basically no room for error not even a millimeter. IT has to be dead on center, and if you're off and you lift it up to reset even once, you invite dust and bubble. Not a good experience. Additionally if you're off by just a bit on this model phone, you will get air on either side of the screen protector. There is no way around this even after multiple attempts. Unlike the soft thinner 'window tint' protectors of yesteryear for cellphones, these thick glass sheets allow no room for even the tiniest dust particle underneath, you will get an ugly bubble. This is because the tempered glass is less forgiving. That said, I swear mine were contaminated with tiny dust particles because I did this under bright light with instructions & I'm not new at putting these on and... I got bubbles... every time. After examining one of the panes, it had dust that didnt seem to come from me. I could be wrong, even without this though it's far from perfect. Makes it worse that the LG has a curved edge screen but this product is supposed to be designed for that. A bad idea perhaps, but if you don't mind a bubble or two (or 5?) this screen protector does look like it will do that part well.You get more than one, so you can always try your luck & hope one of them sticks, but trust me it is a frustrating proposition

And was hard to install. Also seemed to attract a lot of dust so there was always crap sucked up when installing.

I've bought many screen protectors for all my family because i always get the best ones for cheap and im good at installing themI've even done 10" tablet protectorsThis is the worst screen protectorI was excited about the packaging and how great it looked. I paid $2 more than i usually do but it looked okay until i opened the actual screen protectorYou have to peel it off a hard plastic which you risk breaking the screen protector. I used up both protectors trying to get it right because one of the sides wouldn't stick completely, nothing worked because it doesnt actually fit rightI stuggled so much i ended up with a lot of stuff on it and its so annoying

Was not easy to install had to use all three before there was no dust or lint

I have always used supershields for my phones. Never did i ever thought that the tempered glass would be to small. My not have any quality control.

The screen protectors for ANY cell phone are a dime a dozen online, and I could never find one that fit the curve on the screen of my old Samsung. THIS however, is a dream! I THOROUGHLY cleaned the screen first with rubbing alcohol, THEN aligned the protector, slowly removed the backing and gradually pressed out the bubbles. Effective, durable, and unlike so many others, no bubbles have yet to appear under the protector. If they have one for YOUR phone, it might be worth giving it a try!

Does not cover the whole screen. Broke after dropping it 1 time. 1 arrived broken already. The glare on it is prevalent
