Softer hair
It looks like henna but itโs different because itโs harder to washout of the hair and scalp. It made my hair softer but it irritated my scalp.

Light Mountain Henna
Using this was an amazing hair experience for me. Yes, it is more time consuming and messy than chemical coloring. But, it is completely safe, healthier, and produces great shine, body, and manageability. I mixed this powder formula with warm chamomile tea, lemon juice, and olive oil. I let it cure for about 3-4 hours in a warm (200 degree) oven. I placed it on my freshly washed, but not conditioned, towel dried hair. I placed plastic over my head and wrapped it in a towel. I left it on for about three hours. I rinsed with warm water. I finished with conditioning my hair to help remove the excess henna goop. I wait 48 hours before I wash my hair. The results are excellent. The leftover mix can be frozen and reused. The henna can be reapplied without damage to hair or scalp. You can mix several different formulas to create different shades. I would not recommend that to the beginner though. I would start out with the neutral (cassia) to get a feel for how henna works.

It does turn myHair a light shade of blonde and it looks pretty goodUnfortunatly the color really washes outAfter about 4 shampoos. Only a little slight bit ofColor was there after 2 weeks and after3 weeks color was all goneBut i stll prefer this product to chemical dyes.

Nice hair conditioner/color
I like Light Mountain "henna" quite a lot. This particular variety is Neutral and contains mostly Cassia, which does not dye the hair, but rather conditions it, and just a bit of Lawsonia, which is henna. I use this alone sometimes, but often mix it with Light Mountain Light Red or Bright Red henna, just to tone down the red a bit, and make it a little more golden or strawberry red. This works for me, but as always, ones should perform a test patch of hair first. I really like the colors of these hennas and the way they make my hair feel. .

The very best henna....in the world
I mix this one with the red. Sometimes I need more neutral and sometimes less depending on how much fade I have and what season it is. In the fall I use less neutral so my color is more vibrant, for example. But this is the very best henna you can find. I am a hairdresser and have been using hennas as well as tints for 33 years and I always go back to this one. I'm sticking to this .They are very consistent in their product color too.

Useless
That product did absolutely nothing for my hair. I am very disappointed. I had done some serious research on cassia/neutral henna and had high hopes for my naturally curly hair. Unfortunately, the whole application was a waste of a whole afternoon. My hair did not come out any softer, shinier, thicker, or less frizzy. At least it did not make it worse...

Love It!
I have light to medium brown hair. I color my hair with Light Mountain Naturals 2 step in the light brown shade. In between applications I use this neutral option for conditioning. It works perfectly! I did not notice any color change at all. I love it!

Honest and strong hair! This product is great for those of us who are proud of the gray hair we are starting to acquire, yet want those strands of hair to remain strong and easily manageable. With regards color, this product does not mask the fact that your hair is changing to lighter tones. It does, however, mellow out those tones.

Worked perfectly on my dried hair
I wanted to make my hair stronger because the colors I have every 10 weeks make them dry and not so beautiful and it worked well, my color hasn't changed, I bought the neutral one. I was afraid it would alter the colour because of some reviews I have read, but no, the result was good, my hair seem healthier. I will try again.
