This is a great ignition module for Twin Cam 88 Harley Davidson yuh ou have all the tools to install and set up just takes a small screw driver and a wrench or two.

Mine blew up and thats about it, diagnosed it to being dead, ordered this one and harley is back to making noise again.KEEP IN MIND that this is an electrical item, if its burned, then something caused it to burn.MAKE SURE YOU CHECK ALL WIRES! Check them for short-to-ground, rubbed against frame, cracked from heat or you will spend another $266.

Installed on my 2000 Electra Glide STD Set the Initial timing at 6 and advance at 7 and Immediately I noticed a significant difference in power and throttle response. Very easy to set up and customize. Money well spent!

This particular unit has application in a very narrow range of years. That said, I would highly recommend the unit, and the maker, to anyone either experiencing, as I was, an original equipment malfunction, or simply a more adaptable and tune-able upgrade.
