I recently purchased a set of Beckham Hotel Collection Pillows in queen size (they do not appear to be made in standard size), but the pillows are too large for my standard size pillow cases, so I ordered a set of these cotton pillow cases. They are more than long enough to completely cover my pillows whilst leaving a good bit of extra length on the ends.These appear to be good quality cotton cases. I expect they will wear as well as my 100% cotton sheets (300 thread count). I expect to get 1-2 years of use from these cases as that is about the same amount of use I get from my sheets. I wash my linens weekly in hot water, and I generally get up to two years service from a set of 100% cotton sheets.No complaints about these pillow cases thus far, but if anything changes, I will update the review. $15 is not an unreasonable price for these cases, I suppose, but for those of you who have sewing skills, I imagine you could get the same cotton material (or even a higher thread count) for much less than $15 and sew them yourselves. Just a thought.

I ordered six of these pillowcases since the size was 21" X 36" which is the perfect size for my new pillows. When they arrived, I measured the pillowcases and the size was as posted on the website. Unfortunately after washing, all six pillowcases shrunk and now measure 19.75" X 34.75" so these are now too small for my new foam pillows. Frustrating. Can't return them as I already washed them. Also, the fabric is VERY ROUGH. I am very disappointed with this order. I relied on the many positive reviews on this product which was misleading.Update 02/28/2015The company contacted me and assured me that this issue I reported is not typical of this product. They offered me a refund or replacement even after I washed the pillowcases and was already beyond the Amazon 30-day return window. The company really wanted to better understand what caused the shrinkage. After I explained how I washed/dried these, my purchase was quickly refunded. Although I was not happy with the purchase, I must say their customer service was excellent.

Saving up to buy the big package but have been buying the 2 packs a little at a time. They are indeed exactly what is described, EXTREMELY high quality (long staple cotton is the best!) and are definitely the type you would get in a hotel. I love that you could bleach them if you had to. They are not thick/not thin. I have queen pillows and there is a good fit with a little extra length if you like to fold over the hem. They wash up nicely. I wash them alone on gentle and tumble dry on low with a dryer sheet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I do wish they would meet in the middle and sell a package that was about $40-%50-$60 for different amounts of pairs. There is the $12 package for set of 2 and then a package for over $100 for a bunch of them <--saving up!REQUEST TO VENDOR: PLEASE PLEASE SELL QUEEN AND KING SIZE SHEETS OR SHEET SETS IN THIS EXACT SAME FABRIC IN WHITE?????Highly recommend.

It was the third set of pillows I ordered from americanpillows. I’m highly satisfied with them. They are not 100% wrinkle free, but if you set your dryer on low heat and dry them in a short circle then come out almost wrinkle free. I also like the touch of the pillows, they do not feel like satin or silk, they feel like brushed cotton what I prefer. Another point is that they have an exceptional customer service. I had an issue with an order last year. They reacted immediately to my highest satisfaction. I will continue to order my pillowcases from americanpillows.

I wanted a wider king pillow case - this is 1” wider than any others on this site. While it makes removing the pillow slightly easier, I wish it was another inch or two wider.There is no label verifying pillow fabric or country of manufacture so I’ll take their word it’s 100% Turkish cotton.Hence 4 stars.

Very pleased with these. Their soft and keep you cooler than a lot of the higher thread counts do. I was super surprised with how comfortable these were. Usually a lower thread count (while cooler) is not very soft. Their stiff and require several washings to make them softer. They had very little shrink to them and came right out of the dryer looking like brand new. The seller is super fast in getting you your order & its better than they describe! Will continue doing business with them when I need more pillowcases.

I was surprised and disappointed by how rough these are. I washed them hoping that would soften them up but it did little to help. At the same time I bought a bottom sheet from a different company with the same thread count and it is perfect. I definitely would not recommend.

These pillowcases are great if you have luxury down king size pillows. Besides being longer than standard pillows, my pillows were also thicker. The usual king size pillowcases were not big enough and my pillows filled them like sausage casings making the pillows like rocks. I searched high and low for wider pillow cases, and was finally thinking I would have to make them myself - until I found these. Usual king cases are 20" X 40" - but these are 21" X 41" - and the extra 2 inches make my pillows dreamy!!

Describing this pillowcase leaves me with a bit of a conundrum. How do you describe how a pillowcase feels? Well, when I first got it, it felt like a tote bag. One of those with the semi-coarse fibers? So I checked online and it said to wash it a few times to make it limber.But it's been a few months now after many washes and it's still kinda rough and thick.I'm not an expert on Egyptian cotton so I have no clue if this is how it's supposed to be so I can only review it on how much I like it. So I think it gets the job done but I really don't think this is anything like what you'd find in a hotel. It's thick, coarse, feels a bit like a high grade plastic, and needs a lot of ironing.

it's not soft like the one from MUJI, the MUJI one just make me sleep fast. this one make me feel like im sleeping on a paper that make huge noise when i turn or move my head....the quality is fine but definately not better than MUJI which i paid only 5 bucks more

these were adequate and a good price. we like to have extras on hand.
