Asterix and the Chieftain's Daughter: Album 38 Paperback – October 24, 2019

Love these books, even the new ones. They are slightly different then the oldies but I still love them.

Kids love!

I've been a fan of these comics from the States ever since I was a kid. The artwork is aesthetic, the humor is relatable and the stories are engaging, even with so many similar elements from book to book. Surprisingly complex and taught me a lot about ancient history when I was growing up. Once you're hooked, you'll never tire of watching the Gauls beat the Romans up time and again. May these grand adventures never come to an end!

Some of the earlier reviews were hypercritical and unfair. Conrad’s artwork was absolutely amazing and at least equal to the earlier books. The storyline was just right- not too simple or complex. As an American, I found the humor a little challenging at times but overall one of the best of the Asterix graphic novels.
