Q: Are the stones actually removable, it says they are on the title listing but the pictures show the non removable version

Nope! We bought for my son last feb… he’s such a huge marvel fan and so wanted the gold gauntlet so we tried to get a cheap version, and that’s all it is. Stones don’t come out, and if they do they need gluing back in. I wish I had spent more and got one that’s better quality (and wasn’t just a heavy duty glove spray painted gold).
