I recently broke my hand, and if that isn't enough, I have arthritis in both my hands. My physical therapist recommend paraffin wax therapy and so far it has worked great. I like the fragrance, the wax heats quickly and it seems to do the trick. My therapist also said to reuse the wax, since it is only me using it as long as my hands are clean and have no open wounds r infections.

The lavender scent is very subtle and not overpowering at all. The wax is the perfect texture and comes off easily in seconds without crumbling or making a mess. Heat therapy helps with the arthritis in my finger joints.

I am not a big believer in taking medications for ailments. I previously started tasked Tumeric/Curcumin for arthritis in a few of my fingers. After the first time using the paraffin my hands and fingers felt so much better. The next time I used it I put cream on my hands and an added bonus was hydrated smooth skin.

Therabath Paraffin Wax lives up to its advertised claim. While the wax takes about an hour to melt in the spa container it is worth the wait. My husband suffers from arthritis in both hands and I purchased the wax refills to see if he would get some relief. The package label cautions users that paraffin does not have any pharmaceutical properties. The relief provided is in the heat and moisture. This particular wax is lightly fragrant, and remains soft. As the wax was removed he rolled it into a soft ball and continued to exercise his hands. A very nice gift for yourself or for someone who has arthritis pain.

I am in love with my paraffin bath. Seriously, this is the best invention in the history of the world, ever. Every evening I sit and watch TV and wax my hands and feet repeatedly. I'm not exaggerating here--this stuff is addictive. It's great for the arthritis in my hands--it was first recommended to me by a physical therapist--and as an added bonus the skin on my hands and feet is as soft as a baby's butt. These refills are high quality and reasonably priced enough that I can change the wax out once a month and not break the bank.

Love that these a individual little beads of wax....it makes the wax melt so much faster in the warmer. I also love that they are scented without all of the extra dyes/etc. that can separate from the wad overtime. We use this wax professionally in a salon atmosphere where it is on all the time. Another thing I like about this particular brand is that it has so many unusual scents you can change for the season, whatever. I can't wait to try the lemon for spring. The reason I gave four stars is because the bags are small so even if you are buying this bundle of 6, it may only be enough to fill a warmer (our warmer for sure) only once. We were half empty and used this to refill and it took 3 bags. So overall, for the price....I do think that these are rather expensive. There are other options out there for cheaper wax for the at home consumer...but for us we are partial due to the features listed above that we prefer.

Perfect consistency, moisturizes well, solidified well to not make a mess. This is the perfect at home wax product to use in my parrafin bath. I use at a temp of 125-135deg Fahrenheit, put on a plastic food server glove and then slide my hands in my oven mitts for 10minutes, twice a week, and my skin has maintained a smooth healthy feel. I work in health care and body work using my hands all day, so my fingers get sore and stiff. Add washing hands 12 times a day in a cold dry winter climate and my skin gets prone to drying, cracking, and chafing. This wax has been the therapeutic remedy I’ve been looking for. I use a Relassy brand bath and it works perfectly in that machine

This stuff is wonderful. Got the unscented version, so there's no aroma at all. But, best of all, when it comes time to remove the paraffin from your hand, it just peels right off in one nice rubbery piece. There's no caking or flaking. It just slides off nice and clean. Terrific product!
