It was great for less than 2 months and then the sound quality went down so low my husband cannot use it anymore. We purchased July 30th and it already is unusable now.

As an EMT I find this works great. I can monitor the cop channel for my safety in close quarters with patients or their family members and not be worried that they may overhear sensitive chatter that could endanger myself or my crew. I can also enjoy family or social visits without the radio chatter being intrusive and interrupting everyone else good time.

I use this slightly off-label. I like to listen to books-on-tape (Audible, take my money) while I work. I plug this into an IPhone lightning-to-earphone adapter and get good listen-only sound quality, good volume and all-day comfort. Since it’s only one ear, I can hear my colleagues hailing me and maintain situational awareness. The springy coiled wire means it doesn’t pull on my ears when I stand up, and doesn’t snag on things.

Nice starting piece if you want to try it out but for me it was too long and the rubber piece detaches too easily and gets lost. I lost mine and now not sure if I want to continue with this headpiece.
