Allux 800 S Letter Box, Black, one Size

I've used various boxes and some that were supposed to take large newspapers and reasonably sized parcels didn't do the job. I live in an old house and I have to admit that this looks a bit like what you'd expect outside one of those rather modern German houses on Grand Designs, but it looks well to me. Anyway, it is simple to use, of high quality construction, secure and has a good capacity. All this is needed because we chose not to have a letter box in our new, South facing front door, which gets hit by all kinds of weather. I haven't had any jokes about having a filing cabinet at the door - yet - and I think it looks rather stylish. This is certainly many times better than the last box I purchased for £50, as it should be at the price. It does the job well.

We build a new house recently and forgot to incorporate a post box. We receive parcels regularly and are not always in so we decided on this one. The first one arrived and was damaged but a replacement was send and it is great.The post/parcels fall to the bottom of the box and the flap opens shut so nobody can reach into it to take post out.It is big enough for several weeks of post.There are 5 holes in the bottom of the parcelbox so we screwed it to the floor in the entrance so there is no need to buy a concrete kit.The colour is dark grey but it is quite dark more on the black side.

Great post box good for parcels but let's in a bit of rain sometimes still would be lost without it

Very good quality. Easy way to have your big parcel when you are not at home.

Really well made product. Only downside the optional numbering seems expensive ans other alternatives are difficult because of the paint surface.
