Provocative,Courageous,Enlightening,Challenging
The author tells you right up front,in the Preface, you will find truth and love in these pages. That is exactly what one will find in reading this provocative and confessional book.We never really find our souls purpose until we find love. It's not only the people in these fascinating stories who get 'stuck' along the way home to God or Love. We all do at times, so there are lessons here that can aid us on our own journey. There are Truths here that will bring you hope, peace and joy. The truth that you are a eternal being, never separate from loved ones but connected by unconditional love that heals and sets you free. We see how the spiritual and the material worlds are intertwined ( cover of book) and that those who have passed beyond the veil are able to be assisted by we who remain. Many of us were taught that the saints and those on the other side could help us and that we could also assist those in purgatory with our prayers. Here we see the proof of that belief. If taken to heart these stories can profoundly enhance our lives and nourish our spirits. One of the most important lessons we can learn, and there are many, is what all good religion and spirituality teaches is to " let go" As you will discover these 'stuck souls ' where imprisoned in their anger, rage, resentment, shame and guilt,in what the Buddha called the 'wheel of suffering '. The only way out on this plane as well as the next is to 'let go' of the egotistical self and move on to greater love. This exactly what these 'stuck souls' had to do and what we must do as well.Best to start here and now is a lesson to be learned. You will not only find truth here but also love. Love of Fr. Nathan's Faith tradition, his friends, prayer partners and most of all his deep love for the people who come to him in the night for help. It's a sacrificial love and not one that many would be willing to show.So thank you Nathan for having the courage to open up your life and share your Charism (gift) with those of us who not had your rare experiences with this deeper dimension of reality.I believe what you have done here will benefit and be a valuable addition to those who research and are involved in Consciousness studies, the death and dying process, dream work, as well as After Life studies.Fr. Nathan's faith and compassion shines forth throughout and has succeeded in providing us with the hope that "the best is yet to come ".

Fascinating book!
I found Nathan Castle's book exploring his work with interrupted death experiences to be such a fascinating topic that I could hardly put it down. He relates his own experiences helping "stuck souls" who seek him out in his dreams; those who had the misfortune of leaving this earth in a violent or traumatic manner. Confused or angry about the tragic circumstances of their deaths, these souls were not able to, or chose not to pass over into the afterlife as most of us do at our time of death.Fr. Nathan started his prayer life as a young boy, guided by his church, his mother and especially his grandmother, Mawmaw, who taught him to pray to St. Joseph, the patron saint of a "happy death". Believing that the prayers of children are "super powerful", he prayed often for souls in purgatory and those "waiting in line" to get to heaven. He had no way of knowing that later in life his mission would be to help those souls who didn't experience a happy death. Together with a prayer partner he has been able to help over 250 stuck souls and it is their stories that fill the book and touch your heart. Those who have been helped to cross over into the afterlife have shared that their lives are free of the unkind thoughts, words, and actions of others, that everyone is kind, accepting, and without judgement, and that forgiveness, peace and reunions with those we have loved are waiting for us. You do not need to be religious to appreciate this book but it will leave you with comforting reassurance that as Fr. Nathan says, "The best is yet to come".

A Must Read for Struggleing Catholics
One needs to approach Father Nathan’s work with an open mind. I was born and raised a Catholic but have not always agreed with much of the Church’s dogma (such as the fact that when I was young even going into another Christian denominations Church was a sin). If I had Father Nathan as a pastor, I would still be attending Mass on a regular basis today. His book “Afterlife Interrupted” strips away much of the dogma which is predominate in most Catholic churches today and provides the reader with Father Nathan’s experiences of being able to help individuals who have been stuck between this world and the next. Most all religions believe in an afterlife, but they are reluctant to admit that there are and always have been individuals (such as Father Nathan) who are gifted by God with the capability to communicate with those who have passed. Father Nathan’s book tells his story of how he has been able to utilize his God given talent to assist those souls who have been lost in what Catholic’s would refer to as purgatory. The book is a heartfelt story of Father Nathan’s inner struggles between doing what is right as defined by the Catholic Church and doing what is right as defined by his heart. He is to be commended for his work and in my opinion the Catholic Church could use a whole lot more of his type as priests. If you are like me (a struggling Catholic), this book is for you. If you are a devout Catholic looking to criticize Father Nathan as a heretic, you should examine Pope Benedict XVI’s letter to all Catholic Bishops “Iuvenescil Ecclesia”, instructing them to welcome with open arms those with charismatic gifts.
