Used this daily for a month or more. Was great because I could chill my thumb too and it stayed in place. It didn't stay cold for as long as I needed but I would just throw it back in freezer for a little while.

I like it! Does a pretty good job of keeping my wrist and thumb stable. I love the hot cold pack that's included, especially that the gel can be pushed into whichever sections you need it to be concentrated in (do it before putting it in the freezer). When it's fully frozen it's too cold for me, so I let it sit 10-15 minutes before putting it on. When using it without the gel pack it leaves my wrist feeling a little sore from the splint. Overall a good purchase for the price. Even though I only gave it 4 stars I will likely order another one for my other wrist.

My derriere has long been a source of minor pain for me. It became acute following a five-hour cross-country flight on poorly padded aircraft seats followed by four days of sitting on plastic chairs for 8 hours a day watching very boring PowerPoint presentations. The five hour flight home was almost unbearable. I was in awful pain. Once I was home I tried sitting on ice packs, but they were too hard and uncomfortable. I tried a gel pack on each side, which helped a little, but they seemed to warm up within 20 minutes and no longer had an therapeutic value until I froze them again. I spend most of my work day sitting, so I was getting desperate and saw this product on Amazon and thought it couldn't hurt to try it (no pun intended). I froze it overnight and took it to work the next morning. It was so comfortable and stayed cold for about 1-1/2 hours. That made the rest of my day bearable. But when I got home, it was no longer cold so I couldn't use it in the evening. So I ordered another one. Now I have a cold one to take to work in the morning and another to use at home at night while the other re-freezes. I've noticed that I don't have anywhere near as much pain, now, so I'm very happy with this product. I highly recommend it for anyone with pain issues (rear end or elsewhere).

This makes icing your wrist so easy. It’s fits great and works perfectly. The Velcro had held up.It isn’t very flexible when you have it on. It feels more like you’re wearing a brace.

It was good, by far the most comfortable and well fitting of all the braces I have stacked around my house. I feel like a hoarder of braces at this point. My wrist is 6.5” and I got the smaller one. With the ice pack it was hard to velcro around my wrist and the two ends of the brace do not meet, a larger one may have been better when it comes to the hot/cold pack being inserted idk but it worked well enough for the short time using the hot/cold pack. *At first the Velcro that wraps around the thumb was tough and irritating in the crack of my hand but that soon frayed and softened. *the Velcro doesn’t last long and stops sticking as you can see in one of my pictures i have stuck a strap of Velcro to the top wrist band and thumb band, that worked for a bit.*I work with the humane society so please excuse the dog hair and dust. I bought 7/21 and it’s 9/20 today (two months) in one picture you will see the metal splint tearing through the fabric which is NOT durable. If you are doing leisurely work at a computer then this will hold up better for you but I am very active and outdoors a lot and this lasted two months. Overall I think it’s comfortable and I could sleep in it, it needs work with the felt like material used that is the receiver of the Velcro bands and is also the entire fabric of the exterior brace. The Velcro is also very tiny/short teeth and could be more adhesive, considering the amount of activity the hands meet and brushing on things etc.* with the Velcro not sticking well, it really doesn’t hold tight to refrain the thumb in that outwards/backwards extension you really want to avoid.with stronger Velcro and exterior material ( especially where the splint is) this could be a 5⭐️ brace, unfortunately with these issues and it lasting 2 measly months, I am back in the market for a new brace 😭, I would likely purchase this one again and maybe just wear it when sleeping and not during the day but I haven’t been sleeping with any brace to let my hand free while inactive. Idk

This feels amazing on my wrist. So much better than fighting with a ice pack. I have a almost size 8 wrist and it fits well. Ice pack is nice cold & flexible

I ordered this brace for my wrist and like it very much. I tried putting my thumb through the hole, and I felt as if it was pulling on my hand, so I use it simply as a wrap and disregard the thumb hole; thus I'm giving it only 4 stars. The ice pack brings great relief for my tendonitis. A tip if you're frustrated that the maker doesn't sell the gel ice packs separately: I bought this set of six square 3"x3" gel packs, and these fit perfectly into the sleeve of the wrap. If you slide in a double layer of them (fits fine), the cold lasts much longer, and you can position the squares to be the most effective for the injury you're icing. I bought two but sent one back because they're a little small - need to try to order the larger size but there was no size on the package or the product when it got here...hard to figure out if the order I placed was for medium or large...anyway, it stays really, really cold for about 20 min as advertised....haven't used the gel heated yet, but I LOVE how it wraps around my hand - the top and bottom straps are too short on the one I received however, the one in the middle wraps all the way around, great velcro. Great product! Recommend if you have thumb arthritis!!!
