THIS is a wonderful product i used it 3 times since i've got it within hours, its sitting on the kitchen table for the kids to get home so they can see it because i dont wanna keep opening the box for them.To use this machineYou need a big mixing bowl, any bowl smaller won't do. Wal-mart sells them for 1-2 dollars a peice.Good popcorn kernels make sure you don't get the ones out of the microwave bags ( make sure they are fairy new and not expired)You will also need flavoring, because you cannot empty the bags of microwave popcorn into this because it'll burn up the machine and make a huge mess, i didn't try it i followed the directionsA time where you can make loud noise, because this thing is SUPER loud it sounds like 2 vacume cleaners going at once.This machine i would say till about the age of 10 should require adult supervision, because it gets really really hot if left on for long periods of time.I also would not suggest warming up the machine before you put the kernels in because you could burn the kernals and in turn they won't pop. they need to be slowly heated up.Follow the instructions on the thing, Only stick the amount for the cup on the top of the machine in. But you can stick slightly less, i've got away with half a cup and been just fine, but no more less or they won't pop because the heat won't distribute right.All in all this is a good machine, not alot of work.Prospops fast you will have your bowl of popcorn in less than 4 minutes.makes good popcornonly about 8 of the popcorn kernals weren't popped when making 1/2 cuphardly any with the full cup.The popcorn does not go everywhere as long as you have a large mixing bowl.Cons:LOUDif you can deal with something being loud for about 4-5 minutes and you want one that looks cool, this is the machine for you, also the wheels / bar on the back of the machine don't move they are for decoration only~I love it and hope to love it for years to come!

This is a basic air popper with a fun nostalgic look. It works fine, although there can be some unpopped kernels, and sometimes the popped corn goes a little crazy and escapes across the room. Since it's air popped, the flavor is going to come from your seasonings and added oils or butter, so maybe not as handy as microwaved popcorn, but also probably a healthier choice if you don't mind the little bit of extra work.

I was really excited for this small table top nostalgic popcorn popper to come in the mail. I saved a few dollars by buying a used one. However, after reading directions & upon start up, I noticed it was smoking a little bit. I took the top half off and noticed popcorn residue and oil on the inside parts. The directions specifically say not to use oil or butter on the inside! It can cause the popcorn popper to smoke, malfunction and damage the popcorn popper. I wiped down the inside parts that i could with a damp cloth and soap to remove the oil. It is working fine so far. I'm hoping that whatever amount of oil was used didn't go down too far down inside the small popcorn popper. I would like to keep it for my granddaughter. It's really cute and works fine for now, but if it begins to smoke & malfunction I will be returning it.

This product is useless. AMAZON should test Chinese products before buying and selling to consumers. .Many don't work if made in China. I'm pissed for the trouble it caused me and many hours wasted. I bought 3 as Xmas gifts. Fortunately I tested it before wrapping. Design flaw: Decorative wheels keep bowl away. Popcorn bounces before bowl, into room and collects in front of the bowl, under the popper. Getting my money back isn't fair compensation because I didn't have time to find an alternate gift. I blame Amazon for not checking a product that hurts their reputation, and results in unnecessary cost. My time is worth $100s per hour and I have to go thru the annoyance to return it.Other Chinese crap Amazon sold me, resulting in major inconvenience, and costly time to me and Amazon:1. outside grill: cover too small, let's air out, keeping grill unable to reach cooking temp/2. cordless drill: zero power against any resistance such as drilling wood/3. hammer drill: chuck exploded drilling 5th hole.Attention Amazon Executive for Buying Chinese: you are wasting money and pissing off customers. Fix it. Contact me for details. If you don't do this, then identify "made in China" so I don't regret having the buying convenience offset by wasting my time returning useless crap you could simply prevent by basic product testing to verify it works. This popcorn machine is not worth the price. I think I expected more definitely thought is was going to be bigger. It’s about the same size as my coffee machine and it seems kind of cheap. All plastic all the way around except the inside. I feel like its going to melt. It gets pretty hot. The last popcorn machine we had the butter warmer melted. It looks really cool though. Im not sure I would recommend this.

Love this thing. Works great and looks good. All my friends bought one.

This is a great present, my grandson loves it and the family can now enjoy popcorn made with love.
