As soon as I opened the book the binding fell completely apart so now I have all single pages. I made one project so far - The Pocket Organizer - and I plan on making several more. The directions are a little sparse and I wish there were more pictures of the steps. I had to rip out stitching a few times because the directions weren’t clear. Also I tried to create an account so I could download the templates but I have yet received verification.

I love this book! It's been my first time sewing anything and I'm a complete beginner, however I've made a skirt for my toddler and 2 of the ditsy teddy's which are cute! You can download and print all of the templates which is really helpful. Can't wait to start my next project! This book has inspired me to start making other things too. I only wish it explained the steps in a little more detail, as for example it says "finish the seam allowance". As a beginner I didn't know what that meant however to be honest I don't think the book is actually aimed at complete novices! More for sewers who know what they're doing but have some fat quarters they need some inspiration for to use. The larger pieces look fantastic to make. I might attempt the barnyard playmat!

Love this book for using up short lengths and scrap material left over from sewing costumes for school plays.

I am quite new to sewing and have found this book great. Easy to follow instructions and all the information you need to make the items inside. At the back it gives you templates for each project and also a stitch library which I found very helpful and easy to follow. By using fat quarters its amazing at how many things you can make from purses and bags to larger items such as quilts and cushions. At the back you find handy information such as the suppliers and contributors web addresses. A great present to give if someone is starting out learning to sew.

I can confirm that the curious cat pattern is now included in the downloads. I recently purchased this book and have made several tissue covers, everyone loves them and I now carry a spare cover to give to friends as I keep giving my one away!! I was wondering whether anyone else who has purchased this book has tried to make the mouse pincushion as the pattern for the base is missing it's 'notches' and the seam allowance is missing. I assumed that as the cardboard base need to be 1/4" smaller than the pattern piece that would be the seam allowance but when I made the mouse the top was too big to fit the base, unpicked and tried 1cm. Still no good, any experts out there that have made this and can share the correct seam allowances I would be very grateful. Thank you.
