These are slightly more expensive then the really cheap plastic ones but they do not leak! They are machined flat and do not leak a drop. The second wing nut makes them very easy to use and when you shut them off the honey flow stops instantly.I've bought many sets of the various other cheap plastic honey gates, they drip when closed and take forever to stop flowing. These gates are well worth the little extra you'd spend on them and you save a ton of frustration.

It works well. You're able to dial it in so there's no leaks and very little drips. The handle could be a little more ergonomic.

The gate seems to seal ok but If you try to tighten the nut enough to compress the o ring the plastic nut will skip a thread and be loose again. Had to use thread tape the take up the loose fitting nut. Should have spent more money for better quality.

these looked good, and installed easily... but they do not seal well. they leak! even with the gate screws cranked down tight.you can make them work for filling jars...BUT not good if you have honey left in the bucket because hey don't seal tightly.NO I would NOT buy them again.I would spend a couple bucks more and but metal ones.

All I want from a valve like this is for it to seal completely. Perfect seal, no leaks.

Harder to get used to than plastic gates.

I like these better than the plastic ones.

We have ordered them twice one of the three was bad the first time. The second time 2 were bad😕
