lt straightened my laptop out for a short time then it started acting up again. I don't believe it is the network cards fault.

Be aware that you can't transmit and receive 5.8 MHz with this card. It did work properly as advertised for 2.4MHz, but I was ignorant about wifi. For my HP Envy laptop, HP steered me away from wifi cards that wouldn't work on 5.8MHz. HP helped me find an Intel AC-3160 card compatible with Bluetooth, 2.4 MHz wifi, and 5.8MHz wifi. I replaced this card with the 3160 card and I can now view networks that I couldn't view before.

I have a  Gigabyte Ultra Durable GA-H97N-WIFI Desktop Motherboard, Intel H97 Express Chipset, Socket H3 LGA-1150  and the wifi board was always dropping connections. I think it was the new and improved version of the 2230 but goog told me many had the same problem (and not just on this motherboard). I had some other equipment with the 2230 that was always rock solid so I replaced the bad one with this. It has now been a few days and no more drops! I did not have to load any drivers (Ubuntu Linux) but had to reenter the wifi password.Be patient with the antenna connectors and you will be rewarded.I forgot the exact module number of the other one but it started with a 7.

This is a great wifi card, a massive upgrade from the 802.11g I had. I was very excited to also be getting bluetooth however I haven't been able to get my computer to even register it. It could be because i run linux, as I haven't investigated yet. Still a nice upgrade for a good price. I am a bit curious however why they didn't use a 3 antenna configuration.

Replaced my factory card with this because i wanted Bluetooth, and more WiFi speed. this was for a Lenovo U410 Ideapad, and it is super simple to work on, and the card was picked up immediately, and the results are very good. Excellent upgrade.

Delivery was quicker than anticipated & Customer Service was great. Unfortunately the card itself did not perform well. It was slow, causing many routine downloads to timeout before completion. Also frequently totally lost connectivity with my LAN.

If you got a laptop with some not-so-supported WiFi+Bluetooth card and either you don't have Bluetooth (my case) or even your WiFi is really unstable (again, my case) this is the card you need, my WiFi signal now is strong and constant and Bluetooth works flawlessly.I recommend this product for Ubuntu 13.10 users.

have a Toshiba satellite p775 that the wifi card stopped working. So decided to buy this card as replacement since it also had Intergrated Bluetooth. I thought it would allow me to add Bluetooth to my old laptop which didn't have it before. unfortunately, after a week of trying I gave up. while wifi capabilities was installed and functional whithout issues, the Bluetooth was never seen by computer and therefore unable to get Bluetooth to work.

Used to replace the OEM wi-fi/bluetooth card in my HP all-in-one computer running Win 8.1.Bluetooth sketchy with the windows driver but no issues after getting latest driver from INTEL replacing the so-called 'up-to-date' windows driver.

Will NOT work in pre 2011 HP Pavillion laptop.
