High Quality Fan Worth the Price!
Pretty powerful fan. Much better than the cheaper plastic blade fan that is silent, but hardly blows any air. I wasted money on a bunch of these cheap ones that break and when some dust gets in them, they blow no air. These are powerful with aluminum or steel blades and worth the added money, decently loud for their size (expected and not louder than I thought). You just need to make sure you have tools like an Allen wrench and socket set (preferably a socket drill bit and drill to make things easier). It took me about 2 hours to get it put together and mounted from beginning to end. The instructions are not the best and I have a few items extra that do not appear that they belong with the packaging. I like the vertical angle bracket supporting the fan to distribute the weight on the wall. I screwed a 5/8" to 3/4" piece of plywood to a stud and then screwed the lag bolts in to that. 3/4" would be recommended on a normal steel stud wall so the lag bolt can bite in to it. These are very solidly built, but not super heavy. I recommend these fans especially since it states the CFM which means it is a high quality fans. No remote control, but there is a chain to turn on and off.

Works Better Than Expected
I purchased two of the fans. One for each side of our pole barn. I was thinking from reviews that the noise was going to be awful. It's not. My son installed is pretty easy by himself up high. It oscillates great, has great air flow and isn't too awfully loud. Nothing like the big shop fan we had. We have only wired one and it's doing the job. The second one will def be keeping us cooler and probably even blow the bugs away. I am very pleased with them.

Nice Enough Fan - Unhelpful Directions
I was mounting this fan under a small patio roof and had several obstacles to deal with from a clearance perspective. I don't think there was one measurement provided in the directions to help me position it properly (keeping in mind it's gong to be oscillating and needs to be tilted on the bracket). Had to figure it all out and keep my fingers crossed when I finally bolted it to the bracket. Since it's heavy and awkward, it's not like you can simply "hold it in place" to ensure everything fits properly. The pull chain is made of plastic and broke the first time I tried to turn it on. A metal pull chain on a fan where everything else was metal would have been more appropriate. Also wanted to correct a Q&A answer that was provided by someone. Someone had asked the distance/measurement between the holes on the mounting bracket and the answer provided was 8" on center between top and bottom hole. The guy that provided that info needs a new tape measure. The bracket length (wall side) is approx 12.5" and each of the 3 holes are 6" apart on center. I had built/painted a mounting board to accommodate my clapboard siding before the fan arrived - only to have it be too short thanks to bad info. The PDF instructions were available on Amazon for the fan, but again, no measures so not super helpful.

Works Great
This is exactly what I was looking for to go in my detached garage. I spend a lot of time in there and during the hot and humid summer months it can be unbearable. This fan moves a lot of air. The garage is 24 x 24 and the fan is mounted on the back wall. I can feel it when standing at the front of the garage when it’s on low. It feels even better when I turn it to high.

2 different fans, both with the same issue and unusable
The media could not be loaded. *Edit* As an update, OEMTOOLS themselves reached out to me, and sent me a nice package of some of their tools as an apology for the hassles. The fan itself I still do not recommend, but OEMTOOLS went out of their way to take care of me, and I did not ask for it nor did I expect it, so that was great on their part, their customer service team is doing a great job.Received the first one with a broken pull chain, and I was willing to deal with that. But after a few weeks of occasional use, the fan started getting so hot it would shut itself off. The whole point of a fan is to use it when it's hot outside, but it could not handle the Oklahoma heat. So, I was sent a replacement and it showed up in worse shape than my first one. Another broken pull chain, only this was broken to the point you could not even try to get by with it.Now Amazon wants me to send both 30" fans back on one return label. How? I don't know. This is pure crap, and I will never buy from this company again as even when I reached out to them directly, they told me they would not handle any returns or replacement as I ordered it through Amazon. They are cheaply built for a not so cheap price and are terrible quality.

What I needed
I've installed it in my garage and it really helps on those hot days to allow my kids to play and me to workout. It was easy to assemble and fix it to the wall. It comes with everything you need to do the task.Is a bit noisy but the benefit overcomes the noise.

Cant change from oscillation to fixed position
For the money I was expecting the classic push peg thing to stop movement of the fan. But no you have to climb up a ladder and remove a screw then put the screw back without the arm attached for it to be stationary. The blades also leave a little to be desired. They don’t even really fill up the shrowd. Overall it’s a cheap motor, a bad design when a better one would be easier to make and it already squeaks like crazy from the terrible oscillation design. I felt like the price was right to be a quality product, I was wrong.
