I was a little worried about reception for a stubby antenna but it actually works well

Fits my 2004 Sprinter and is only maybe half inch taller than the roof line so now I don't scrape on things that say clearance 9 feet. I never use the radio so I can't really attest to oh well it pulls a signal.

It has a hard time picking up local stations . Thank God I have xm

I had to do a little adjustment with the screw it has in the packet. But it works perfect.

I wants to get rid of the large oversized factory antenna. This was the ticket. Just the right size without reception lose.

Took a chance... Well, I know better.Austin still has good FM to offer, some stations are not high power and require a good setup for good reception.Factory antenna worked great, but one day it was no longer there. The smaller ones offer a little more protection from car wash destruction, but the trade off can be poor signal gain. My guess is that the element in the antenna is shorter than a OEM antenna. Not calibrated for 100 MHZ, about the center of the FM radio band. Better than no antenna, but not much better. I even roughed up the threads on the threaded coupler a bit so it made better contact. Looks good, but skip this one if you still listen to FM.

Purchased a used RAV4 that had had its antenna stolen. Living an hour's drive north of the city I had only distorted reception from a few radio stations until I installed the Cara 7" Car Radio Stubby Antenna. Now I get all the stations as if I was driving around in the city.
