Great umbrella for the price.
I really like how sturdy the frame is and that the fabric is strong but not unpleasant like some of the more industrial yard umbrellas. It looks great and has held up to wind, sun, and what little rain we get in Southern California.

Excellent coverage, ease of use
This is a very nice umbrella. It is easy to use, works well, is attractive and is perfect for a small picnic table. We were recently in a rain storm and did not even get wet. My guests have commented on how nice it is and another friend wants to buy it. It seems to be good quality and I'm on the second year of use. The only problem is that the tilt function does not work,or we cannot figure out how to may it work, giving it a 4 star.

So far we love it, awesome color
We didn't get paid to review this! So far we love it, awesome color! Pretty sturdy! Only problem I see is there is not spot that is stitched into it so we can tie it up when we're done... Like the other one we had? That's my opinion though... I'll make a strap to keep it closed up while not in use, maybe out of bungee?

DO NOT BUY!!!
We had been looking for a nice solid patio umbrella. After a lot of looking we decided on this one. What a mistake! After being up for 3 days, a cheap, thin aluminum spine snapped off. There was no wind or rain. Stay away unless you like throwing money away,At least Amazon's return policy is amazing. Kudo's to Amazon. ABO Gear should be ashamed for selling this mess. Avoid at all cost!!

Good and sturdy-construction. Ingenious tilt mechanism!
The quality of this umbrella seems to be very good. I first purchased a similar umbrella made by Abba. That one lasted one day before the string controlling the carrier let go and dropped the umbrella on my wife's head. The string got wound up inside the pole and I was unable to repair it myself. I returned that one immediately. This one from Abo seems sturdier and better put together. On the other one the two poles screwed together and kept unwinding with the wind. This one pushes the two poles together until a button pops up. No problems with it unscrewing with the wind. I also am very impressed with the auto tilt feature. When the umbrella is completely open, you just keep turning the crank handle and the umbrella automatically tilts on it's own. A very ingenious mechanism. I have only had it about a month, but it appears to be holding up well so far. I will check back at the end of the summer. At this time I would highly recommend this umbrella.

The fabric is sturdy and the color easy to coordinate with the upholstery ...
I am thrilled with this umbrella even though it's still to early to put it out. The fabric is sturdy and the color easy to coordinate with the upholstery of my dining set. Hopefully it will be fade resistant as well.

Beware of all the 'free product for a positive review' posts
I have mixed feelings writing this review. For the price it initially seemed like a great deal. I purchased the turquoise/green umbrella - absolutely gorgeous color. I've had this umbrella for approximately 3 months so I can't speak to its overall durability though I will note that even after spraying it to be water resistant it is already showing signs of mold. It's August in a really warm nice Seattle summer. It is also very top heavy. I have a nice stand yet it stands so high that when there's.a strong breeze the entire umbrella along with my small glass table flip halfway over my backyard deck. I ended up having to remove it from the stand so the cheap plastic base sits directly on my deck. Overall while it is an attractive umbrella I do not think it is good, durable quality. Next summer I'll likely purchase a replacement umbrella elsewhere.

Good so far
So far so good. We've had it for two weeks and no problems. Unlike many others I bought this for full price not as review incentive. Design is good I like the tilt feature it's easy to use and the construction seems solid especially for the price. Umbrella material is waterproof and sturdy. I bought one of the cheap bases often purchased with this and the umbrella blew over when open but did not get damaged, so that was good. Giving it 4 stars for now will update at end of summer when it's had some consistent use.
