Biozone PR10 Air Purifier

Purchased 5 units over a 2 to 3 year period and placed them in all of the areas of our facility. They work excellent out of the box and only needed to have their bulbs replaced about 1 a year, using them 24/7. After about 5 year of use, the electronic parts inside the unit started leak a brown thick liquid. It did not look safe. I contacted BioZone Scientific International in Orlando Florida, the manufacture of the product, and asked about inspection of the units and repair. There is $25 charge to inspect and that is waived if the unit is repaired. They said this is a normal part of their business and the units do need some maintenance after several years of continuous use.I shipped all 5 of our units for inspection and repair, and confirmed they receivede them a few days later. That on in February of 2020.I made some follow up calls over the next couple of months to see where we were in the process and was told the repair department was backed up, but it should not be much longer. That message was repeated several times to each of my phone calls.In July, when I called them for the last time, I was told they were repaired, but the tech needed to complete the invoice. I got the, "let me call you back" speech and confirmed they did have my phone number and email.Again, that was in July, 5 months after we sent them in. It is now November 12, 2020. I am still waiting for that phone call. Having these would have been great during the COVID 19 Pandemic. But their lack of customer service..... What can I say.....I would suggest another product, with a lower cost, as these units are pricey, do work well out of the box, but after time, if you need repair on your equipment, best of luck to you.I would not recommend these units or this company. The units are high priced, do work well for a while, but if you need repair, best of luck to you. You ship them back and that's the last you'll see them.

I purchased this for my preschool classroom with the cold and flu season quickly approaching. I have used it for almost 2 months now. The first two weeks I could run it only overnight when I wasn't in the room, because I kept getting severe headaches but after that the initial breaking in time I have been able to leave it on full time. It is quiet, most days I don't even think about it. So far very few children are spreading germs to each other but I also have the children wash their hands many times through out our day.

This was a superb buy. It went deep into the wallet, but was worth the money. Though wife grew up with smokers, I cannot stand smoking smells (in apt with nearby chain smoker), and my kids have allergies. I placed it in each room in the house for 1 day to clean it out. Now I do maintenance runs. I have also brought it to work (in my own office) for an air clean out. There is a slight 'chemical' smell (ozone I believe I read) if you are too close - say within 5 feet which can be overpowering. Other than that, I can smell/feel the difference in the room. An added bonus is that there is No filter - but it is more analogous to 'plug and play' equipment.

The speed of the fan never changes whether you turn it up on high or on low.

Item is as described and delivery was fast. Can't ask a lot more than that!

Very effective, wonder if I shud have gotten a bigger unit. Or just buy two smaller additional units for bedrooms?

The biozone 1000 cleans the air from all kinds on contamanents. I have had one running almost constantly for a year and it performed well and quietly. It also works on 110 and 220. I highly recommend it.

I have tried many other products - Ionic Breeze and Hepa filters, none of them worked. But my Biozone does! I smoke a lot in my bedroom, and it NEVER smells like it the next day -not a trace of ciggy smell.And the bulbs are supposed to last about a year? Well, mine's been going strong for one year now, and no signs of "weakening" yet. These bulbs are a little tough to remove (for cleaning or replacing); at first, I worried about having to pull so hard on the bulb, but it didn't break so I guess it just takes a little getting used to.I love this product!!!
