Metal fire guard
I love this product because it was super affordable and it is great value for money. it is a great size and it fits perfectly on my fireplace. It looks great on my fireplace. It is great for keeping little ones and pets safe. It is very Lightweight and easy to move but heavy enough that little ones cannot move it. It is also very sturdy and durable. Great quality in my opinion. It is a great product all around. I would highly recommend this product.

The dimensions are perfect to surround the calor gas fire. Good value and well made.

Needed a barrier to the pilot light on our gas fire
I’ve always been unhappy that the pilot light on our gas flame fire is at the front and on show rather than hidden underneath. We don’t put the fire on when children are around but with grandchildren running around and a toddler who is fascinated by the pilot light flame, I needed a barrier.This is perfect. It looks smart, isn’t too deep and perfectly does the job I wanted it for.We move it if we want to use the fire as the mesh is quite fine.I do agree with others that the gold ring is a bit cheap and naff and would prefer black but it’s not that bad.(And yes the pilot light could be turned off but this involves getting down on the floor every time and we are not as young as we were!)

Very sturdy
Very sturdy and looks good, fits across the fire well, the only negative is I thought it would have a gold handle but it's black, I'm happy to keep it but it shouldn't be advertised as a gold handle when it's black. Still looks good. But would of been better gold.

Not perfect
The product looks good and overall for the money is fine. There is a small area on the side where the metal squares are irregular and slightly bashed. I couldn’t face the hassle of packing it up to return it so ended up just accepting it. But just be aware this is not an expensive material.
