Good little box for the price

I bought a small box to house an outdoor temperature sensor. Although the box itself is great, the same cannot be said of the seal. This is supplied as a length of white elastic material, which has to be fitted into a complex shaped groove on the box lid. In order to get the seal into the groove, you need to stretch it slightly to reduce its diameter, but the seal material has no strength and it just snaps. After ending up with 3 short lengths of seal, which still weren't in the groove, I gave up. I will probably just apply some silicone sealant to do the job.
