Great for insect or larval dissection.
An excellent product, allows for pins to be placed and also prevents damage of delicate dissection tools. The only drawback is that there can be some specular reflection when using the dish under a scope with overhead illumination. Further, with darkfield illumination, the irregularities in the silicone can create some shadows, though this is less of an issue with the clear version (as compared with the black one).
