For anyone who is concerned about health
I think this book should be on every coffee table in the western hemisphere (along with Food Over Medicine also authored by Dr Pam Popper). There is so much confusion in regards to health/disease and this is due, in large part, to the food, pharmaceutical and medical industries. First, we need to get the facts straight and have the science to back it up. This book does just that. For the vast majority of illnesses and disease, it's a matter of Food Choices (literally). It's about what we put on our forks at the end of the day and how that promotes or prevents disease. This book is very well written and easy to comprehend. The resources are impeccable and reliable. This would make a great gift for friends, family, coworkers! Really this is a book for everyone. It's a great stand-alone book as well as an excellent companion to the documentary of the same name. I highly recommend this book. I'm giving this book 'two forks up'!

Sub-par
Derivative, largely anecdotal, sloppily assembled. But I remain thankful to the authors for giving us the documentary film of the same title. The film is not only great, it also compelled me to purchase The China Study. So, my recommend … enjoy the documentary film, buy The China Study …
