Catch Ball Velcro Game Set

I bought this for my 2 year old hoping that it would help with his co-ordination, throwing and catching. It does help in that he likes throwing the ball for me to catch, but if he manages to catch it on his mitt then he doesn't have the strength to pull the ball off to throw again.Also the one we received had a large run in the velcro on one mitt, so I don't know how long it will last and when you pull the ball off the velcro pulls away from the mitt.Finally I wish I had paid half the price for one without a fault in my local cheapo shop.

Bought this set to play with my 1 year old. He put the ball on the pad, I pulled off, gave back to him. Repeat about 50 times and the ball is falling apart and cannot be used. The ball has not even been thrown! the velco is far too harsh (or the stitching of the ball far too poor)Great while it lasted (a few hours)

I was expecting it to be cheaply made, but not to break within 5 minutes. The velcro pad pulled off the plastic backing when my toddler tried to pull the ball off (which is difficult in itself, by the way, as the velcro is too strong). Not worth even the low price.

Grandchildren love it and it is great for their ball skills and coordination

Lasted two holidays and counting.

Well after reading review from someone with a 2 year old 'Grandson' I wondered - but my 18 month old Grandchild managed to remove the ball from the velcro and could give a good throw. However I bought it for the GrandParents to play. Great Game & FUN.

does what it says on the tin - great fun and you can be inventive with them if you buy two lots ie 4 velcro pads - you can use them as rounders bases as well or attach to a post and fire the ball at the post
