The media could not be loaded. I'm always skeptical when purchasing equipment online, so I studied out my best options carefully. I am now convinced I found the best bang-for-buck pullup bar available on Amazon!I've had a different pull-up bar from another company once before needing a new one. The old one came with the primary center bar come a little warped, making me need to bend a few parts (including a bolt) to make it work and fit together. This one, however, was perfect. No flaws, no warped metal, intelligent simple design, easy fit. I highly recommend it! I've had it for about 3 weeks now and I use it 4-5 times a week. Still strong. Not only do I do pull-ups on this thing, but I also do full-body rows and other exercises to help me get the the front-lever. Basically what I'm saying: I trust this product's integrity.Pros:- Affordable Price- Quality Material- Easy Assembly- No Screwdriver necessary (i.e. no stripping! Hallelujah!)- Tools ProvidedCons- The top part that rests on the door frame and against the wall above the door is apparently plastic. But, because of the nature of the door-frame pull-up bar, that shouldn't be a problem because your weight is distributed between various points of contact when set up properly. Both my friend and I have been using it without any issues whatsoever (and I'm picky).- The foam pad resting against the drywall above the door-frame looks thinner than I expected but seems to be doing its job. Leaves no marks.Should I experience anything new (be it positive or negative) I will update my review. So far, though, this passes all my exercises with flying colors!PS - I am 6' tall and weigh 167 lbs. My friend is 6'1" and weighs 175 lbs. Holds both of us great.

As you can see from the other reviews (and their helpful photos), this won't fit every door. You need a modern-styled door frame with pretty narrow trim. It's a shame, because it seems like it wouldn't take much to have made this work with a wider variety of door frames.In addition to that, there's a little angled metal piece that you need to squeeze between the trim and the wall on one side. It's pointed, but if your trim has been painted with your walls, or the trim installed too snugly against the wall, it can be rather difficult to get this in. They warn not to use it without this piece. I'm not sure it does any good. It doesn't look very strong, and if your weight starts taking the thing down, it's not going to be held up by this little metal plate the size of my pinky.The device itself seems very sturdy and attractive, and I have no doubt it can easily hold my weight. It comes well-packed, and the instructions are clear, and you don't even need any extra tools to assemble it (it comes with a mini-wrench). You probably want a knife, to get through all the tape, and to fit the metal piece (mentioned earlier) behind your door trim.I have no regrets buying this. It's inexpensive, and it does what it says it'll do. It's not the nicest piece of exercise equipment I own, but it's pretty good, especially for the price. If you want a permanent installation for your epic garage gym, look elsewhere. If you want something for your home office to give your arms a workout now and then, this is the bar for you.

This is really a very useful, sturdy and well engineered product. Purchased for my son and he loves this unit.Assembly: instructions were okay, however I assembled most of it without because it was so simple. Note: Do wait to tighten bolts until all are installed as noted in other reviews.Door Fitment: fits standard size bedroom doors very well, once installed removal is very easy. Hardest part is a small metal stop that must be placed (inside bedroom) on top door molding to make sure that the bar will not slip off the molding. This metal stop is VERY flimsy however I decided to use it because very little pressure is exerted due to bulb of weight is held by external door bar against the door frame. I tested it - I am 6’ 2" and a few pounds under the 250 limit - worked great - no wobbles. I would prefer it a little higher for a more agressive workout, however my155 lb son loves it. We verified that it works as advertised for all four workouts. It shined - once again no wobbles.Note: I did get my son a device to strengthen his grip (about $10) which he will need especially for his pullups.
