Household Essentials Single Load Hamper Cabinet Seat, White

I looked all over for a hamper/bench for my bathroom, and was surprised to find a lack of options, many of which cost way more for similar. This fit the bill, and was easy to put together. I do suggest they improve the instructions for anyone less able to understand them, as they throw most of the steps into Step 2. One thing they don't mention at all in the instructions is that the back board has two indented holes which MUST go inside - they're for holding the rods for the hamper. I made that mistake and had to partially dismantle it to fix it. The build quality is better than I expected, as the package was very light and small when I received it. Despite my misgivings, I'm very happy with my purchase, and I'm keeping the company name in mind in case I need to search for more furniture like this!

A one only because I had to choose I’m not trying to be mean but my advice would be do not order this item. I have been quite pleased with 99.9 % of Everything purchased thru Amazon however this item is the exception. Things did not line up , wood splitting now that we have it together we will use it for something but we won’t dare sit on it very small for a hamper. Dee Pfeiffer

I like that it’s small enough for the bathroom and high enough to sit on. Feels very sturdy and is nice looking. The only thing about it was putting it together. The instructions were mostly illustrated and didn’t say much. If you’re mechanically inclined you could put it together without much effort, but if not. The specifications say assembly one piece, not so there are several pieces. All in all I like the product.

I bought 3 - I really like the design and function but looks like I got 2 from a certain batch and another that’s from and older batch. The older one came together perfectly, except one of the dowels went through thin board. The other two the holes don’t align perfectly and you need to jam the thing together so the corners bent outward on the front, it came with chips on it, also the cushions is more of a dirty beige. So my set of 3, only two matches. Also the laundry bags fall off the wooden stick every time you take it out, I will need to find some glue to help it hold together. It does not hold very much laundry, about half my washers load.

Was a bit of a pain to put together, not enough written instructions, more pictures which made it more difficult with so many parts and hard to see which way it was showing in pic. Once done it looks nice and seems really sturdy, won't hold a lot, but wanted it in my bathroom just for a couple towels, hand towels, and wash rags so it'll work for me...

Precision parts go together perfectly Took about an hour. Could do it now in 30 minutes. Easy instructions.

One of the walls on the hamper was too long, and would not fit into the pegs during assembly. The board had to be altered to work. Overall, it was able to be assembled to work after modification, but it is certainly not worth $76 nor is it an easy assembly. Quality control is low, product quality is low.

The dowel pegs were all about 5mm too long so the boards would not fit together properly. When we tried to force one side into place (before we knew what was causing the problem) the dowel splintered the chip board and lifted the thin white laminate/paintwork on the outer face of the board. This happened on two sides before we worked out what was going on. Then we had to dismantle the whole thing, cut down the dowels, then reassemble the pieces. The punctured laminate had to be glued down, sanded and repainted. Most inconvenient! The recesses for the seat/lid had to be adjusted too, as the seat would not sit all the way down in the closed position. Overall, the quality of the construction and paintwork was much worse than I would have expected for the AUD$213 we paid. Especially since we chose this over other designs that had received bad reviews for their poor quality and workmanship.

I sent it back as it was way to small and not worth the price was very disappointing

Item came damaged

Too small to put even a 1/2 a load of laundry in. Has a seat, but I wouldn't rust it for more than a few kilos. Seat support screws wouldn't hold. Had to glue it together.,
