Furniture refinishing
Did a great job on a nightstand we had scratched up. Very durable once dry. Nice even sheen.

Works great to touch up your wood floors
Well it's not always possible to sand the whole room and poly it in one piece. So that's when this great product comes in. You use 0000 Steel Wool to repair and clean and then spray a poly patch where you just worked to protect your repair. This product allows you to feather in the poly so it blends - and you can even shape it with a clean brush and clean cloth once it's applied to blend it further.

It does its job
It does its job and is a much easier method of finishing. You have to do at least 10 coats to get a noticeable finish but with the quick dry time and absence of tools to wash, I think it's worth it. I thought the sprayer might get gunked up but I haven't noticed anything.I don't think this is a replacement for finishing a tabletop or something that will see a lot of wear though. This leaves a VERY thin layer that would be really hard to build up to any level of brush on poly.

Did the job but a bit spotty
I have always used Varathane that is brushed on - this was my first attempt to use a spray version. It covered fine but left small droplets on the table which had to be brushed out.

WAY BETTER THAN BRUSH ON POLY
Wish I had used this on other home projects. With a tiny bit of care, you will get factory furniture finish on your projects with no brush marks. Absolutely great product. I refinished a large armoire and put 4 coats of this poly. I used less than two cans.

Worked just fine
So far, it is exactly like it should be. No idea how it will hold up over time, but it appears it will do just fine atm

Defective product
I have been using this product for a long time with no problems. I was finishing a large redwood burl table and had applied four coats of this product when I ran out of the older cans of spray finish and went to apply the last coat with the new cans purchased last month. I had been using the semi gloss finish and the table was looking really good. As soon as the last coat started to dry it lost all of its shine and turned to a dull mat finish. Checked the label on the good cans and the new cans and they were identical. I think the last two cans were miss labeled or defective. It has been more than 30 days since purchase so I can't return product..
