Not particularly useful for someone with even minimal business experience
Not particularly useful for someone with even minimal business experience. These are personal stories of people "makers" and what they sell. Unfortunately, there's not much to glean here if you are interested in started your own business as a "maker." The basic take away from these 80% of the chapters is, I started making something as a hobby and never thought it would amount to anything and then it grew into a small hobby business. You will not learn much about developing your product, marketing, or scaling a business from this book. If you are looking for some inspiration, perhaps it will be helpful, but don't think of this as a business book.

Should be called Maker Pro Interviews
It's a collection of stories of Makers who made the jump to professional makers who now make a living at it. It's is inspirational, but it's more like a series of interviews than a book about becoming a Pro Maker. It is definitely inspiring, but not any kind of manual or guide.

Must have for Inventors
Really cool book, gives an inside look into what it is like to be a Professional Maker. Must have for inventors who have an idea for a product and need a little guiding in the direction of making it a reality. Some essays also describe the life style of a full time maker, not as glamorous, but better than a soul sucking 9-5. Highly recommend, thanks.
