I have used this outside on Western Red Cedar siding for the past 18 years it is great, has a harsh Smell But it last keeping my Siding looking great.

Sikkens -- for best wood protectorant
I've used Sikkens on Teak boat, Cedar deck.. and it's proven over the years to be the best protectorant against weather, sun, UV etc. (Deck shown in attached PIX is Cedar -- 30 years old -- treated with Sikken -- and still looks great and beading!)
