Keklle Single Hand Under Counter Jar Opener

My mother in law has arthritis in her hands making some everyday tasks difficult. Living alone, one of her 'hurdles' is opening cans and jars. We were able to find her an easy to use can opener and also picked up a hand held jar opener. The can opener was helpful but it was still difficult to hold onto the jar opener securely enough while using.This under the counter, single hand jar opener looked promising. Since she is tiny we could needed to use a counter where she didn't need to hold the jars up too high. We found a low counter, used the tape to hold it up so she could try out the location. It worked great so we secured it with the included screws and it was ready for use! It really has made it easier for her when preparing her meals. This Jar Opener simply doesn't work. It's a piece of junk. I read rave reviews of this product and purchased it for my parents and am so disappointed in the product. My mom has trouble opening jars and thought this is brilliant. It scratches up and ruins the jar lids yet doesn't open the jars. I've tried using it myself on a number of jars of various sizes with no success. I was able to open those jars by hand after struggling with this EZ Jar opener.I thought the rave reviews were objective although the other reviewers said they were given discounts for their reviews. After wasting $13 on this product, I learned the hard way that this product is a piece of junk. Reviews on other products are spot on most of the time but this one they're hyped up.  EZ Jar Single Hand Under Counter Jar Opener .A thoroughly disappointed customer and a very disappointing experience.

Recently moved to a new place and installed this item. I had previously usedEZ Off Jar Opener For All Jar Sizes, Whiteand it worked great. This one just peels the paint off the lid while the jar spins around. Both my teen daughter and I gave it a go to no avail on two different normal-sized jars. Go with the EZ Off.

This is a great product and a real convenience! I mounted it farther back at first as I didn’t want it to show up front mounted below on my new kitchen cabinets. But I changed it to be right up front and it works better closer to you as it is easier than bending over the countertop to get to it and do the twisting.

This was easy to install but a little cheezy to use. The jagged teeth are not all what I thought they would be. You have to actually push whatever you are trying to open with some muscle and give it a couple tries before it actually opens what ever it is you are trying to open.

This particular one doesn't work that well. It has a single row of teeth to grip the lid with, and the teeth are very fine, so they don't grip as well if at all.There are other ones that have the double row teeth and the teeth are much better. It costs a little more, but it gets the job done 1st time. This one....it doesn't do what it is suppose to do.

Love this - My wife was forever asking me to risk injury and embarrassment... LOLNo Jar is ever going to make me feel like a pansy again!Great product!
