Topping NX3s Portable HiFi Headphone Amplifiers OPA2140 LME49720 USB Bass Gain Digital Audio Power Amplifier(Silver)

Topping Nx3s...sounds very clean and soundstage has increased in my cans. I have a Fiio A3 which I love, but I read reviews on this amp and found the silver model on sale for $55.00 bucks. I wanted an amp that would handle a higher impedance headphone,(55-300 ohms.), so I bought it! My power hungry Fostex T50RP headphones need a boost for fidelity. The A3 handled it ok, but at that price I took a chance. Yes...... more bump and better separation and a little more power. I really like it. Mid-range is toned down a bit, but not alot. I like that you con mod the opa amp if you want. The topping website is great too! Build quality is very good....feels solid.... I would like to try a 250 ohm headphone when I buy one to see how that works...but I believe they should be fine. I will also use my A3 too because I like to change every so often for different sound experiences. I have 10 pair of cans and they all get a chance! Highly recommended little amp!

565mws per channel drives my m1060c's to pretty loud levels and the bass boost is really well defined, not too much, but never too little. Great portable amp that is more powerful than its bigger brothers that are twice the price (385mw on the nx5) and sounds way better than the fio. Really cant beat the sound and power for the money. To get more than 1100mws total power you need to spend atleast 200 dollars or more on a portable. Even the 300 dollar THX only has 265mws balanced! If you need power with a really clean and clear representation of your audio, this is the amp for you. Liked it so much I bought an A30 for more power, but find myself still preferring the sound of this amp overall when I dont need 1.3 watts per channel of the A30. LOVE IT!!!
