This capo is great! No strings out of tune.
I just got this capo. Right away I tried it out on both of my 6 string acoustic guitars. I can't believe how well this capo works. Before, I was constantly re-tuning when attaching my other capos. I've tried at least 6 other capos. Each one pulled the strings sharp, especially the low E string. There are several songs I play with a capo on the 6th and 7th fret. (No, not at the same time lol). As you may know, with a capo that far up the neck, you are bound to pull strings out of tune. Not with this G7th Peformance 3 capo! This capo doesn't show in it's title that it uses the ART technology, but it does. Try this capo, you will not be sorry! Sorry if this sounds like a sales pitch, it's just that I'm so happy to find such a great capo!

Not at this price
I genuinely feel like I got ripped off here. It's my own fault, but charging $100 for this capo is price gouging. You can get a Performance G7th Capo at Guitar Center for less than $50. There are listings here on Amazon for this capo at around $50.This is the best capo I have ever used. The product itself gets a "5". This vendor gets a big fat zero.

Not for all guitar necks
I tried this on my Martin 00016 and had to keep moving it all over to get all the strings to play well. I have other capos that were much cheaper that work much better so I had to return it because it just didn’t work.

great product
This capo was a little pricier than the others on Amazon, but you get what you pay for. It is a high quality product, easy to use, and has a beautiful Celtic inlay. The versatility of this capo makes it a good value for the money.

Works as advertised!
Great capo, very well made. Easy on and off. Tuning issues when using a capo are completely resolved with the G7th performance 3. In the past i'd have to check my tuning after clamping on a capo...and then have to readjust after taking it off..no more headaches. This is a great product

Not as good as the original design
For many years I used a cheap Jim Dunlop strap capo for my acoustic steel string guitars. Fine and simple but on the frets at the bottom of the neck near the nut it needed to be fitted very tight to stop buzzing, which tended to pull the strings across the fretboard slightly. So I frequently had to retune the bottom E and A-strings each time I deployed the capo. When the old strap capo finally fell apart from years of use around 12-13 years ago I bought an early G7th capo and it was a great improvement. No more retuning when taking the capo on and off. Decided to treat myself to the upgraded ART version partly because I do have one guitar that I play a lot with a thin narrower neck, which even the G7th original struggled with a bit on the lower frets not to induce buzzing. I thought the new ART modification to the G7th capo should improve/eliminate this. But however much pressure I apply when fitting the new ART version, I still get buzzing on the D and G strings on the first two frets. After a few days of use I have concluded that the ART modification does not make any significant improvement on the original version. The original G7th is chunkier and appears to be more solidly built than the newer version. The new one looks great in gold with the Celtic symbols, especially if the guitar has gold machine heads, but my advice is regrettably, after shelling out over 60 quid, to stick with the less fancy and cheaper original G7th capo version.

Let down after the original G7 Performance Capo
Went a bit overboard spending £62 on a guitar capo but it does compliment a nice guitar, especially if you have gold hardware which I do on my Washburn guitar.Noticed straight away this capo was not as solid in terms of size compared to the original G7 capo. Also the release ‘switch’ works in the opposite direction. Also noticed it didn’t hold quite as well as the original which I still have.Bought this new one so I could have it on one of my guitars whilst leaving the original on another. After three weeks of use, playing every day the new G7 Gold version has broken. The plastic release ‘switch’ broke off today. Refund requested. I wish I could but another of the original G7’s as it is working great 8 years since purchasing, playing every day so getting plenty of use.I’ll just not have to lose the original and can do without the broken of being replaced, especially since it is just not the same build quality of the original. And £62.........You decide. But I’d recommend avoiding and finding either the original G7 if anywhere still sells them, or buying a different capo.

best capo out there
Already had a G7 capo for a few years so decided to try the new improved version. It's the only capo I have ever used which doesn't squeeze the strings so hard it puts the guitar out of tune.Easy to put on and remove with one hand using just as much pressure as you decide to apply to hold down the strings.Great product with lifetime guarantee (I think..please check but I'm sure I'm correct)

Sub standard - do not buy
I am very disappointed with this expensive product. I have used a G7 capo for many years and bought this as I liked the design. Unfortunately it is not as solid as my previous capo and does not maintain a firm grip across all the strings and produces buzzing on the lower strings. I am going to return it.

All rounder
Great product. Was dubious given the price but worth every penny. So easy to use. Unobtrusive compared to bulky competitors that I have used for decades.
