Mystical Forest Shaped 1000 pc Jigsaw Puzzle by SunsOut

We've done many puzzles through this long pandemic and this one is our favorite so far. It's a challenging puzzle. It's pretty big. We have to turn it a bit to fit on that 28" wide table. The pieces are a wide range of different shapes and you really can't count on the shape, since what may look like a place for one piece may very well be a place for two or more pieces. We had a section we thought was on the edge for a long time that turned out to be right in the middle of the puzzles. The most important thing is that we had a lot of fun putting this puzzle together, which is what really matters.There have been comments about the quality. I found the quality to be very high. Some of the pieces are very small, and it would be easy to break them, but we did not have any issues at all. So long as you are reasonably careful it's not an issue. It is absolutely true that the picture does not match the puzzle completely. The picture outline is clearly different. It didn't take long to figure that out and it actually lent a bit of extra challenge to the puzzle. This puzzle will fool you. We had pieces we thought we know the location of only to be mistaken and pieces were were certain must be missing, only to finally find that it was two different pieces instead of one.The fit for pieces is excellent. Correct pieces fit together perfectly every time. It's very annoying when you put a piece in the wrong place and that was nearly impossible with the quality cut of the pieces in this puzzle.We've done a lot of puzzles. We are not fond of the (boring) uniform piece puzzles and this certainly is not that. Pieces vary dramatically. My wife created lots of funny names to describe the many shapes. Most puzzles you sort out the edge and do that first. In this puzzle half the pieces look like edges, so that won't work. We found ourselves working on different areas and the edge didn't really come together until we were nearly done.One last issue I found interesting. The puzzle had very little dust. We've had puzzles where the table was quickly covered with a film of dust. This puzzle was much cleaner.A wonderful puzzle with a beautiful and interested picture that we had a blast putting together!

A bit disappointed with this specific puzzle. It came with a lot of imperfections. A few of the puzzle pieces where smashed weird and wouldn’t stay together without tape and it wasn’t fully cutout like the image makes it look like it will be. Mine also looked like the registration was off when they printed the puzzle. I’ve ordered a few others by the same company and they were great. It was just this one that seemed to be poor quality.

The picture on the box is not the same as the puzzle. The legs were very hard to figure out.

I like a challenging puzzle and this fits the bill. Pieces are medium small but pretty sturdy. Not finished yet.
