GT703 Hunting Knife With Gut Hook Fix Blade Knife with Sheath

Very sharp

I like how this knife feels in my hand. Appears well made. Knife blade came nice and sharp, though the gut hook was dull. I primarily purchased this knife for the gut hook, so I will see how well it sharpens.

Just like others have said. The gut hook is basically none existing! The sides have been cut for it but there is NO edge on the inside

Like that the handle is made of wood instead of plastic or rubberIt will be used for skinning deer and pigs

The knife arrived quickly and had a pretty good edge (except for the gut hook), and is a handsome design that fit well in your hand. It is somewhat light in weight which is good for a skinning/gutting knife, a heavy knife becomes heavy and cumbersome with extended use. It is almost a perfect size for it's purpose. The only real negative is the quality of the sheath, it has a single , thin strip of leather for a belt loop (this will break rather quickly and you may lose the knife during the hunt), that has a rivet at each end to secure your knife (if not for the fastening of this belt strap I would be very satisfied with this item). Plan to get another sheath or modify the belt loop on the existing sheath.

Das Messer liegt gut in der Hand.Die Klinge ist nicht gerade sehr scharf und weißt Sägezahne an der Schneide auf. Die Hakenschneide ist auch nicht gerade scharf und beim komplett schleifen sollte man sich etwas mehr Mühe geben. Ich finde es für den Preis trotzdem ok und werde es beim Messerschleifer abgeben und nacharbeiten lassen.
