I bought this as I am now experiencing hot flushes and a handheld fan is just not convenient. It's worth every penny, in fact I'm thinking of getting a second as a spare. Flushes tend to come on quickly and don't last very long so when I'm out and about I wear this round my neck and can quickly turn it on and off whenever I feel one coming. It's light and on the lowest setting hardly noticeable, although on the higher speeds I do find it hard to hear what other people are saying! When I'm at home I just prop it up on the table beside me, or lay it on my lap and angle it up. The family were all sceptical at first but can see how much I use it and that it's making the flushes much more bearable for me.

When I saw a similar item on TV I thought it was a great idea. I have a number of sisters all at the menopause stage and decided to buy 3 of them for my sisters. They all got back to me saying that they were fantastic, So much so I decided to buy another one for myself and it works a dream when I'm doing a workout and exercising. I have another sister who works in a kitchen and gets very hot so I'm just about to order another. The uses for these fans are endless, so my sisters keep telling me and as I'm finding out for myself, lol. You don't have to wait till your menopause, buy one now you'll find a use for it. Highly recommend it

As a person "of a certain age" this is a gamechanger & lifesaver (to those around me-haha). Seriously helped with the hotflushes & nightsweats. Great when we had the heatwave a few weeks ago. They are the most straighforwrd things to use, you literally charge them, put them on & press the button. (Depening on fan strength you press the button to adjust speed). they do look a bit "b-tech" though & there are nicer ones looking, more sleek looking ones on amazon. I bought these a-as they were the cheapest, b-they would arrive the quickest. As the fan bits are like desk fans, I think anyone with longer hair would need to be extra careful. But as I don't & when I'm hot my hair is tied up, its not a problem for me. My family thought I looked ridiculous when I 1st wore it (but I didnt care) & when they tried it on they loved it too. We were all surprised that it wasn't heavier. I have a little drawstring pouch that I put them in as it doesn't come with any sort of case, but the product is great.

I am suffering greatly with the heat and menopause and everything !A close friend recommended and I thought I would give it a go (basically would try anything)Well I’ve just hoovered and done the ironing and I feel great - no saturated head/hair no sweat dripping down my whole body !At the moment (baring in mind thus is the first use)My New Best Friend!

I don’t believe that a lot of these reviews are real. This item is not fit for purpose. The charging light will not stop flashing even when unplugged and the rechargeable battery compartment had a loose piece of metal. Dangerous - avoid!

Had to return these as the actual breeze coming through these is very minimal - similar to a baby's breath.I already have similar ones which I was very happy with my but tried these as they were supposed to stop long hair getting caught in the fans. Unfortunately to combat this they had to make it a closed design which basically means hardly any air gets through.Had to return them as they were so poor.

Love this item, such a lifesaver when it comes to those very few and far between heatwaves.The breeze is surprisingly strong, I really didn't expect it to be so, in all honestly.Charges relatively fast and lasts a good time on the lowest speed. The highest speed tends to drain the battery fast.It's easy to operate and lightweight enough to not irritate.Would definitely recommend!

What a waste of money and delivery fee plugged in for almost 8 hours still didn't work it went in the bin as it wasnt worth paying for it to be returned there was no invoice or returns address I'm sure there are alot of ppl who ordered the same one and found out it never worked total scam from the seller not amazon
