Not for me.
I bought this to smooth butter icing on cakes believing it to be (according to one review) flexible. However it isn't and is also very heavy. I suppose I should return it but have decided to keep it and put it down to experience.

Nice spreading knife
This is a great spreading knife, a little flexible which is good. My only downside would be that the handle is very long. I think it would have been more comfortable to use if the handle would be shorter, but that's just me.
