Spectracide Pruning Seal, Aerosol, 13 oz, Case Pack of 1

I have used this stuff for years. Its pretty simple, when you make a cut on your tree, you spray some of this stuff on the wound. I have an old tangerine tree that suffered when CA cut our water usage. A lot of the bark started peeling. I used this stuff to cover the exposed areas and it is still bearing fruit even though we thought it was going to die. I also use it on the roses when I make large cuts. Its pretty good stuff.

I have been using this stuff for years. Its great. Only issue is that you will get a lot of over spray if it is windy outside. Since the nozzle does not have an extension tube you need to be very close to the area of the tree when spraying. You will get a lot of back spray so wear eye protection and bad clothes as you may get overspray on yourself and your clothes when the material hits the part of the tree that you are spraying. Great sealing power once on the tree. Will last for months.

Nice product. Easy to use after pruning trees. Seals well. Much easier to use than climbing a ladder with a bucket and brush.

I have used Spectracide pruning sealer for several years now. It works great, remains on the cut for a nice long time deterring grow back. It is a good value for the money but can be a little messy from the spray nozzle hence the 4 stars. I would recommend this product.

The product itself is great but one of the cans we ordered had the cap missing and the product was spraying inside the box during transit, not much but all the same someone didn’t check before sending it out.

I like this pruning seal to spray on where I trim trees.

I have used this item numerous times, this is the 2nd can. I have dogwood trees and you need to seal a cut so that a borers don't get in the cut and bore down the center of the branch into the tree, destroying branches on its way to the trunk - even killing the tree. My only complaint is this is VERY MESSY to use. The blank sealant sprays all over and if it gets on you or your clothes, it does not come off. I always get it all over my finger that is depressing the sprayer. Can't help it - it comes out that way. I'm going to try to use a paper towel over my finger when I press down on the spray. But it's a good product that I can't do without.

Easy to apply and covered very well. Great product.
