This is a very good way to secure the doors
The item arrived in 2 days as promised.I used them to allow a 2x4 to be placed across the door at my grandmother's house to make her feel safer.I used a 3/4" piece of the 2x4 on each side of the door, then I used 4" lag bolts to secure the product to the sides of the door. This is a very good way to secure the doors.

I needed to keep a goat out of a stall
without modifying the barn stall permanently, and this is perfect! They are very strong and non-flexible. It's a great way to modify a stall door so that only my chickens can access that area in the wintertime without the goat eating their food. I put 3 across the door at different heights and the chickens can go underneath the bottom one but the goat can't get in. And I can take them off anytime and the door is back to normal.

Use these to defeat a kick in door break.
Very solid metal brackets. Will secure my door with a 2 x 4. Both of my locks failed and the back door was kicked by the intruderOne was a dead bolt, the screws weren't long enough to be secure in the frame.Be sure use the longest screws you can get.I am using 3.5 inch self-drilling construction screws. Will install one set at the top of the door and one near the bottom.Only negative is that you can't secure from the outside.Fast delivery and high quality.Recommended

use quarter inch lags perfect for 2x4 or 2x6 bar(s)
great quality, thanks for amazon and you reviewers, as i followed a reviewer's suggestion on the hardware.... use 1/4 inch lag screws, length according to your needs.... these are hard to find, nice to get them shipped to your door after an amazon search.

Works well.
They run a little small, in my case. I have to drive the 2 x 4 down into them.Good quality, good and tough.

Solid product, STOP putting those stickers on it
This is a solid product my only complaint is they put a branding sticker on each one that is near impossible to remove. I am trying to paint a bunch of these to use with hurricane shutters so its a royal pain.

Great security using this bracket to hold 2x4 bar
I used this to secure my back door of my garage. I spray painted the bracket white before installing. It looked fine with my white trim and is quite sturdy. Fairly easy to install and I feel that my door is really secure and would discourage anyone from trying to break in through that door.

solid and perfect 2x4 fit
i used this on the rear entrance to my garage. i don't have door molding on that door so i mounted these directly through the drywall and into the studs. a 2x4 drops right in and nothing short of a car is coming through that steel door when the 2x4 is in place.
