The lamp itself is fine. It is a bit bright and I purchased mostly for the dimming feature and the "user friendly" app but I've been trying to connect my lamp to the smart life app for going on 3 days and I've had absolutely no luck. I can't figure out who to even reach out to for assistance because the company the lamp is made by might not have their own website? The lamp company is there but they don't reply back. I've contact amazon directly and they offer a replacement but I'm not even sure that it's an issue with the lamp itself but more-so the app. I even activated new spectrum equipment last night and it made no difference. I've lost count of how many times I've "reset" the lamp to try and connect it to the app. I'm disappointed because as I said I was really looking forward to using the dimming feature and connecting it to my google home. I've tried adding the lamp directly to the google home app and it can't seem to find it or locate it either. Bummed that I can't find someone to help me address the issue. Bummed that I cant resolve the issue. If anyone has an answer to the problem I'm having I'm all ears! I've tried ever lightbulb option on the app a handful of times each, so I haven't even figured out which lightbulb option is the one to use for this lamp. If you have a solution please help!

Overall I love this lamp. I originally bought one and it's great. Setting up the bulb was frustrating - I had to bring the lamp next to my router to get it set up - but I haven't had problems with it since setting it up. Even after unplugging or power outages I haven't had to reset the bulb, so I'm very happy about that. I love the ability to schedule lighting. The lights turn on around sunset (as I scheduled) and when they suddenly turn off late at night I know it's time for me to get ready for bed. Dimming is great, and the color options are as advertised. The regular tone ranges from the beautiful, warm, yellow-orange tone visible in my pictures to a bright, clinical, horrendous white which I can't imagine anyone enjoying, but hey, the option's there for you. Assembly is easy as pie. The pole on the stand is a little wobbly, but it's not that bad - I don't have children and my dog is chill, so I don't have to worry about the wobble worsening.I liked the first one so much I reordered the same lamp for another room. Strangely, I was sent the same lamp but with a different lamp shade. It still works with my decor so it's not a problem for me, but if you want more than one I recommend ordering them all at the same time to make sure they match.Lastly, the packaging is compact minimizing waste and making it somewhat eco-friendly, so I like that too. Definitely a good buy.

I bought this lamp for reading under. I’m 60 years old and need that additional light and this lamp does the job perfectly. Easy to assemble and took about 10 minutes. I like the look of the simple shade. It has a on-off button that you operate with your foot by stepping on it. The WiFi bulb that comes with the lamp is not recognized by my Xfinity WiFi so I had to purchase a different bulb for the lamp. I got a bulb that works exactly the same as the WiFi bulb but the new bulb uses a remote and is not WiFi. I like this new bulb better because I don’t need to use my phone to turn on the light and anyone can operate the lamp now. The lamp has a nice saten black finish and the base is very heavy. One thing that the website does not mention is the light bulb base has a swivel on it. So you can swing the light/shade outward and adjust the direction of the light with out having to move the lamp. A happy feature that I was looking for. Good quality product.

Lamp arrived quickly and honestly I'm very impressed!I bought this lamp for my apartment living room as it doesn't have a ceiling light built in. When it arrived I quickly assembled the lamp (took about 5 minutes) and easily synced it to the TuyaSmart app and my wifi. I had purchased this light mostly interested in using it as a "standard" light, but after setting it up I fell in love with the ability to change colors manually or have them alternate automatically. I've received numerous compliments on this light when guests come over. They are as impressed with the app and color changing feature as I was! I will be purchasing another for my bedroom so that I can have multiple lights to control with a single app. Great quality lamp for a reasonable price. Buying a "smart bulb" at a retail store will cost you more than this lamp AND smart bulb.

The instructions for pairing the smart lights were very poor, so I'm here to help you out.The App is "Smart Life - Smart Living" By Tuya Inc. When you search in the app store there are going to be all kinds of different apps labeled "Smart life", and that's all the instructions tell you so if you haven't already used it you might go down the rabbit hole of trying a bunch before you find the right one like I did.Once you have the correct app, it's pretty easy. Just follow the prompts. You reset the bulbs into pairing mode by having it OFF for 10 seconds, then: ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON. It'll start blinking after a bit.Once you pair the lights, get "Google Home" (or alexa or Siri or whichever one you use) and link them up so you can do the "hey good, make the lights sexy" stuff.Enjoy. They look Great.Brightness is okay for a medium room. I have 2 for my larger room.

Really like this lamp. Woth that being said, even at brightest level, it is not quite bright enough to adequately light up a corner of a room. Also, maybe it's just me, but found the app to control lamp a tad confusing. The lamp does so many things, that it makes it confusing when using the app. All in all, for the price, a very nice lamp.
