They work perfectly on our steel french doors. We also got the linen texture curtains from the same brand. They arrived in good condition and were very easy to put the curtains on and attach to the door. The magnets are quite strong and I expect them to hold without budging. The finish is much prettier than the options at my local big box store and the price is comparable.

These curtain rods are great. Very stron magnets, so no slipping. They are so much easier than putting rods on wood doors where you have to drill holes. They are sturdy and do not look cheap.

These are pretty great I used them to put curtains on four French doors. But do not pull on them - the magnets are only so strong and sometimes fall. They have never fallen from just opening/closing the doors though.

Used on my metal French doors, is the simplest installation available. Holds heavy insulated window coverings without sagging. Just measure to purchase the right size for any metal door or on any metal appliances for extra towel racks.

Super easy to put up and looks good. Just what I wanted. The silver color has a little bit of a gold tint. Does not totally match brushed nickle but is close enough for where I am using it.

Perfect! Took less than one minute to install. Another review mentioned that the end kept falling off. He or she did not realize that the end pieces are different "inside". NOTE that one attachment (with the ball) has "ridges" inside of it, and another attachment (with the ball) is "smooth" inside. You must use one of each on the ends of the rod. The ridged end attachment goes on to the end of the "thinner rod" and the smoother end attachment goes on to the other end of the "wider rod." They hold beautifully. No drilling, no screws, no putting ugly holes into your door, and no paying a handyman! I am a 67-year-old woman, and I did it by myself in seconds. Now I have privacy, I still get natural light, and my hallway looks classier! I did all of the research and foot work for you. This product is a great value. Note: I only write a review when it MATTERS, i.e., the product is either outstanding or it is horrible. This product is outstanding.

This is an okay product but, more than likely I will be returning or giving to someone else to utilize in their classroom. The magnet is very strong which I love but, I wish this product was a little better than it was for the price. It is rather small and this is something that through me way off. I was hoping to make a flip calendar for my classroom but, may end up doing an alternative since they the rods do no extend very long.

These are exactly what I needed for our tv room patio door. The magnets let me move the curtain depending on the sun or if we need to use the door. They are sturdy enough for our one curtain, but maybe hard to hold up really heavy drapes, hard to say.

I used these magnetic rods for curtain on side window. You just have to make sure the right knob is screwed on to the right side, while putting it together. Otherwise it won’t tighten on the one side. I replaced this with another rod that was not magnetic, but was secured by command strips with hooks. Unfortunately my kitten kept taking the bottom of curtain & unhooking it. Not with this one. The magnets are very strong. I just want to mention that the curtain doesn’t secure flat to the window frame.(See pic.) There is a little gap, but I’m okay with that. You still can’t see in my house, from outside.
