Q: I want to use this with a pirate costume,but its way too long. Is it possible to fold it over and put at corset on it without looking stupid?

I’m 5’3” and it doesn’t drag in the ground (well, maybe a teeny bit, but it works for steampunk

Q: Would it fit a 44" waist?

This is not a true skirt, ot actually just ties around the waist and is open i believe it can fit most people of various sizes. The wider the waist the less it will look like a skirt maybe like a bustle and you will def need to wear either leggings or bloomers like I wore it to cover your privates.
